I like the facilities and education quality of this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very much relevant and research-driven because they use projector based teaching where you can see and learn very fast. they provide live demonstration whenever it needed in the classroom or in the lab. there are multiple tests occur in your whole academic year because every unit completion they take a unit test. and before the exam, we have to face the pre-examination test.
Placement Experience :
I am not sure about the Placement of BPT because our batch is the second batch, but college invited multiple top-rated hospitals, hotels, MNC company in the college for placing the student. they have own hospital in the college campus where you can enhance your skill during the study period and after course completion, you can join the DIMS.
College Events :
Doon Institute of Medical Science Celebrate all religious event together in the college. You can enjoy HOLI, DEEPAWALI, EID, CHRISTMAS in the same joyful manner. College also invites some internal function for the students such as Oath ceremony, Annual Day Fresher party, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
BACHELOR OF PHYSIOTHERAPY is basically a 4-year course and each year you have to pay 35000 as a tuition fee. the examination fee is different for each year. you can join the Hostel if You needed it. it will cost you 60000 to 1 lakh per year depending upon your choice.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No, I didn't opt scholarship but I have taken the education loan from the union bank of India. you can easily find the education loan with the help of college. you have to pay very less amount of interest in it. or if you belong to the SC/ST/OBC then you can find the scholarship from the state gov. College also provides scholarship for the poor people who got good marks in there 12th.
Campus Life :
Gender ratio is 10:4 (girls:boys). Doon Institute of medical sciences has a separate hostel for girls and boys. they have a very big outdoor stadium for playing outdoor games, and a very good AC enabled indoor stadium for indoor games and function. you can join the college gym.
Alumni/Alumna :
our seniors are very much helpful. college invite old alumni into the college every year. where they share there experience with us.
Admission :
I saw Doon Institution of Medical Sciences poster in the movie theater, that time I was searching for a good college for further study. I just noted down the college number and very next day I call the admission department of the college they invited me to visit the college and describe me each and every advantage about the course. then I make my to-do BPT from here.
Faculty :
my opinion the faculty members are well eligible and knowledgeable. Most of them are completed there Ph.D. they are very kind in nature and very much helpful for the students. they also discuss their experience in the class room to motivate the students.
