Remarks :
As per me, management was really good because their trade tower initiative offers heavy funding to startup and entrepreneur student - something I have not heard of anywhere else.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is really good. This comes after the strategic division of fundamental subjects in the early terms of the course while the second year focuses on the core specialization. The course has a fair amount of case studies that help to understand the market in a better manner.
Placement Experience :
The placements in the college are really good. We had a mixture of big recruiters and startup firms in a healthy ratio. KPMG, EY, Yes Bank, and other leading names were there along with startups like BYJU's, etc. The placement ratio is generally high in the college.
College Events :
Cultural events including dance, singing, and various other art forms were really rejuvenating and interesting to organize as well as participate in. It gives a good break from the usual schedule. Other events included anniversary days, dedicated club functions, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
At the time I was a student here, the fees were 16 Lakh for the total course of two years. I am not sure if the same is maintained now as these things keep on changing with increasing rates of accommodation, facilities, etc. I think a reference to the website will give a better idea.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I took an education loan from the bank on my name. After placement from the college, I plan to return it on a monthly basis and the process was fairly easy.
Campus Life :
This is good at Woxsen because they do not just focus on academics but also provide room for debates and sports and other activities. The best part has to be the swimming pool where we used to chill at night along with the basketball court and golf course.
Alumni/Alumna :
Immediate seniors were really helpful if you ask them anything. Notes, how to study, important exam tips, the whole scenario was mutual and friendly.
Admission :
There are many ways to get admission in Woxsen School of Business. I got admission through NMAT conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). This is a widely accepted exam by many other management institutes and Woxsen accepts NMAT scores.
Faculty :
The faculty of the college is really good. Most of them are the alumnus of various leading MBA colleges of India and their subject matter knowledge is strong. In addition, the industry experience of teachers is really helpful to gain a strong understanding of concepts and their application.
