When compared to past ten years before the college students were very good in everything but now it is totally changed
The staffs are very rude by blackmailing the students with theri powers

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose philosophy only for the study in the Madras Christian College Because the name MCC is very well known to everyone because it is one of the great colleges in India So this make to choose any one of the courses in this college

Class Size : 2Course Fees : INR 25000 per year

Placement Experience :

There are more placement offers are coming to the campus of my college The eligibility students are undergraduate of 3rd year and the postgraduate of 2nd year students will receive the placement cell offers

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My fees is 25000 and my scholarship I received is 5000 There is no concession on my fee payments Other students also received the same fees and myself also used to pay the same fees amount Adi dravida schalorship is one which is received by myself in the college

Campus Life :

In the overall experience of my college my college focuses more on festivals but the entire college will never celebrate any festivals They will celebrate each and every festivals in department wise only

Admission :

I chose Madras Christian College rather than the other colleges because the campus is very vast with greenery of nature in it Before joining the college I once went there to see the campus then I loved the campus which made me join in the college

Faculty :

In my college specifically my department is far better than other department faculty members They were very kind and nice to everyone Some faculty will be nice and some will be bad in their characters The teachings are very good

Mcc made me!

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's not updated and i feel like they should review their curriculum and come up with new ones. The teaching methods should be improved. Our syllabus were very unhelpful in the actual world we are living. And i feel like they should update it for the sake of students.

Good quality of education

Admission:

The minimum eligibility for getting admission was to qualify three years of graduation or its equivalent from a recognised university. After qualifying my Bachelor of Arts in Economics , i took admission in this course. The admission was totally based on the marks obtained in the graduation.

Placement Experience:

My overall experience in placement and job opportunities was good. The college provides good placement opportunities by arranging many campus interview for the final year students. Many companies like HCL, AXIS BANK, ICICI, Max life insurance, Vodafone, IBM, Cognizant etc visit our college every year for campus recruitment. The average salary package offered by the companies was 7 lakh annually. They select students based on the performance in the interview.

Remarks:

The college has good in the language before some few years back. And still now it’s somhow good in relevance in the studies but sometimes much more pressure and extra works that was not much necessary in the departmental curriculum. One bad things is the college didn’t listen to the students voice and opinions and students were considered as money. Much more pressure and once president said is finalised and no options. There is many stories within the students that cannot reveals but most of all they wait for the graduation.

To get an admission in this college for this particular course is very tedious. The college organizes two entrance tests where in the students are measured and graded on the basis of their theoretical knowledge of the graduation course curriculum as well as they test their logical and analytical reasoning.
