Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is very good. It covers all basics of the subject . Particularly the syllabus for chemistry is very vast, and they cover almost all topics. Also they take practicals for each necessary topic. They also provide other papers apart from your core papers that you can choose as ge, aecc, vac or other to improve your skill and knowledge other than your course. Some interesting courses are like EVS, Python, Q basic for Chemistry applications.

Internships Opportunities :

There are various companies and institutes where you can go for the internship. I can't specify the names because I didn't applied in any institute because I worked on a project under my teacher in my college itself. I did my project on water purification by mirco bacterias.

Placement Experience :

There are not very much placements in the college. But Some courses like Statistics and Commerce students get some good placements. The students from Sem 6 are eligible for the placements. About other things like packages and all, I am not aware of those things. My plans:- I am going to write CSIR NET and GATE and go for PHD in nano catalysis and energy storage.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure Graduation ( 2020-2023) 1st year - 20000 Rs. 2nd year / 3rd year - 19500 Rs. Approx. Because in 1st year fee, there is Admission fee and examination fee was included and in 2nd/ 3rd year there is no admission fee. We need to pay the examination fee seperate. Post Graduation ( 2023-2025) 1st year - 25125 Rs. 2nd year - 24222 Rs. (Again admission is subtracted) Fee break up is not mentioned on the receipt. Fee is almost same for reserved category students also. They only get some refund of around 250 rupees from tuition fee. Yeah, there is financial support scheme available for students in need . And they sometimes provide the full fee wavier. Merit Scholarships are also there but they are very less and vary from department to department. If fee increases or not ? It is from my personal experience, fee increases every year for new student. My younger brother got admission in 2022 and currently he is paying around 23k while I paid average 19k for the same cours

Campus Life :

The overall experience is mesmerizing during the undergraduation. There are lot of programmes, seminars, webinars, societies programmes were going on daily basis . Also who is unaware about the annual fest of Hindu College "Mecca" . As the name suggests, it is the best fest of DU with full of sponsers and audience. Any student of DU, don't wanna miss it. Sports games are also played by students who want to go for it. But a student who wanna attend all classes and lab, geys a very less time for all such activities.

Admission :

In UG, I have applied for University of Rajasthan, secured the seat there but when I got admission in Hindu College of DU. I grabbed this with both of my hands, because it is the best college in India. In PG I got admission in various universities i.e. CURAJ, University of Rajasthan and Banaras Hindu University. But when I again I got the admission in Hindu, I went for it. Because it is the place where I did my graduation and I know that it is better than other universities I got admission. Also BHU is farther from my hometown, so I didn't go for that.

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio: 1 to 5. Teachers are very helpful and always there with the students whether it is academic or personal issue. Although all the faculty members were experts in their field and very good in teaching and behaviour. The Faculties, I liked most during my undergrad are Dr. Vinita Narula and Dr. Aman Bhardwaj. I liked them most because they are very generous and their teaching is just amazing. Also Dr. Dinesh is also loved by whole class. He kept engaging class with him. Exam structure:- There are two Semesters in a year. And every Sem contains two exams internal and final exam. Final exam also contain practical exam. Internals are for 25 marks. Final exams are for 75 marks. Practical exam is for 50 marks including continuous evaluation. If you have studied throughout the semester attentively, exam will not be hard for you.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had choosen this course as I have a great interest in mathematics. And learning mathematics with Statistical approach is really helpful for me as it makes be better to understand the concept of real data. For now the curriculum is prepared for only for 1st year and further information is not known. For now their is not much improvement needed and their are 2 tutorials and classes each week in which the doubts of assignments and tests get clarified on tutorial classes. This course helps us to collect data from various topics and help people become more efficient.

Remarks:

Like any other govt college (excluding IIt’s) ,the thing that I would like to focus is on the maintenanc e of the labroatry softwares and equipments. The library is decent and so is the administrative department but there is a huge scope for improvement in these particular field from both the government and the college administration .

Remarks:

It's a perfect college and degree for anyone aspiring to get into a master's course with the minimal fee. Of course the package scale of some other courses is way high but again ROI in OR is way higher.
