- Things i liked about the college was they never forced us or gave less marks due to absentee. And the ratio for girls to boys were 6:5 if i am right.
- Other things i like was the events used to happened in our colleges.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure was not that much appealing and the benches were less cleaned. I hated seating at back because of that.
- The teachers were quite good enough for teaching for b.com. but not as much as good as m.com teachers.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as i was interested in banking at that time and this course provided basic knowledge about all the terms we used in daily life of ours. Accounts financial banking business economy etc. So its easy to understand this terms in future if we chose a more higher studies. I just want this course to teach us in more practical way than theoretical. As its hard to understand sometimes. Especially accounts. The exam timings were appropriate compare to the difficulty level of the paper.
Placement Experience :
Placements of my college is average not that much good. Though we could get jobs after completing this course but not that easily. As nowadays we have to have tally course or any other accounting software knowledge with the course. Then only we get jobs. There are very less companies that provides Placements based on graduation or post graduation. From the last year of b.com students become eligible for Placements held in campus. The companies i only heard came for Placements till now was bajaj finance, Datamatics, ICICI bank and thats all. I dont know much of the package they offered. Not much of the college students were interested for the Placements in our college. My plans after getting this degree was to pursue masters and getting a proper job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I can't possibly say the detailed fee structure but for reserved category the fees were 880/- for that we had to fill freeship /scholarship forms. If not filled and submitted we had to pay the full fees of open category that may be 2000/- i think or more than that. The 880/- fees were yearly. And thought i cant say today's fees structure of the course but it might not have increased that much. The campus conservatory charges were 300/-. The cost of journal fees 180/-. Administration service charges were 200/-. Internal charges were 100/- and the commerce lab. Fees were 100/-. Thus was for reserved category. The scholarships that we used to get were not that much but if u remember it was 1500 or something which we never got.
Campus Life :
My overall experience with my campus life was somewhat good. We used to study, hang around with friends, at that place only. Pur college infrastructure was average, the classes were okay i will just give 5/10. The events happened in our college were days, annual gathering, ganesh Chaturthi, women empowerment events, fresher's party for bba faculty student. The days are held typically in January. Our library was like a den. I dont know how other students liked to go and study there. There were only academic books as i remember for reference and not much other books to read. We got our journals from college only. We never had any technological facilities in our college or classrooms. There were cctv cameras thats all and one hall containing projector. The ground was big enough to play football or cricket or basketball.
Admission :
I did applied to many other colleges but as i was pursuing this course from 11th in this college only so i took admission here only. And also this college was convenient for me to travel from my house to college. The admission process are based on merit for those who are new and for those who were already of this college got direct admission and preference. We jyst had to fill up the forms take signs on them from principal and then attached documents with it and then submit it to cash counter with fees.
Faculty :
Faculty members were average. Neither good nor bad. The faculty to studeht ratio was obvious 1:2 . The relationship between them were good but can't say best. Not every faculty member was helpful. They were approchable except one teacher that used to be there at that time. Accounts teacher. She was never good to be approchable. There's no best faculties that i liked. And no faculty that i hated. There were 2 exams every year. First was internal exams and after that external exams. There were quite many students who failed in subjects even if the exams were easy. We also ysed to have projects in the last year of the course. Qhuch carried 100 marks. The course is average.
