Satisfactory

Remarks :

The college is yet to get a better governing body. The labs are below average they lack the latest instruments, latest technologies as are provided by most of the medical colleges. Plus point is college is just meant for BUNS a whatever upgrades it is gonna benefit the students. Also, college is not overcrowded.

Merit List

Course Curriculum Overview :

There is no substitute for hard work. It doesn't matter in which field you are just working hard and that pays in the end. If one works hard through the entire course it's a really good choice. Finally, the point is if you are in the BUMS course you must study properly otherwise don't opt for it.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, our college provides internship I a rotatory basis. I have not yet completed my course to be eligible for the internship so I don't have any experience regarding this. But as heard from seniors probably it should be good.

Placement Experience :

Placement is zero through college authorities. They have their own hospitals associated with the college but that is disfunct. If they work on that hospital and start that may be job opportunities may improve. Still, this is not an issue students can practice privately.

College Events :

I am a first year student and have not experienced such events yet. I guess they don't celebrate any events. Maybe they celebrate college annual day and have some alumni meets. Our college is poor on this side.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is highly expensive you have got to pay 170k for the first year and then 110k each for the rest 4 and a half years. I don't think they deserve that much. Being a medical college it still lacks a lot of important aspects.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is nothing like scholarships provided by the college on its own. But they would just guide you to avail the loan facilities from native banks and have their bucks paid. They are far behind on this ground. All the private medical colleges do provide scholarships but they never give it an eye.

Campus Life :

Labs as I already said lack infrastructure, space, and latest technologies. For sports, they would provide you everything for cricket. There is good ground but they lack planning for how to promote every kind of sport. Not everyone likes cricket there are other sports as well.

Hostel Facilities :

There are no hostel facilities you have to get a room on rent and make your journey. The college is not that old maybe they are gonna work on it in future and they should this is really important. However, the college infrastructure is developing. The only thing they lack is the latest technologies in labs.

Alumni/Alumna :

I don't know much about the alumni network that part is probably a week. But as for senior students, they are helpful. They discuss the problems faced by them and try to make it easy for us. They would acknowledge us about exam patterns and everything we would ask them.

Exam Structure :

College is associated with the university of Kashmir and exams are also conducted by them. Exams are really tough the same as the case is with MBBS students. If one doesn't work he is definitely got be failed in the exam.

Admission :

The selection was on the basis of NEET points. JKBOPEE made the selection list through online and offline counseling modes. Then the selected candidates had to visit the college campus to pay the fee for the first year that was 170k.

Faculty :

This is a course where its never up to college faculty. Self study is the key. I would say faculty is satisfactory except a few loopholes more precisely in the department of physiology. But as I said that doesn't matter that much.
