Course Curriculum Overview :

The relevance of curriculum is great. As years pass and into the final year, I finally feel that base to knowledge is pretty strong. Government curriculum is followed so there is certainly no complaint in that.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements often are picky but most of them are placed here. Packages average around 1.2LPA to 2.4LPA. I don't have much knowledge about everything else but if extra stuff is done extra curricular for eg will add value as 2 students placed into a German company with 6.0LPA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Diploma fees stand as :- ?68000 base fee. Those with reservation avail these benefits: EBC - ?38000 fee OBC,SC,NT - ?6000 ST, others - ?0 Everything is total of ?68000 I pay + whatever charges required for Stationary. Stationary fee changes every year so it is not concrete. I've paid ?650 extra for stationary fee this year (final year) which is the highest I've paid for stationary.

Campus Life :

Campus infrastructure is not questionable. Crowd is what will easily drive away quality seeking students. The crowd is very immature, unlacking and unserious. Often abusive and non cooperative. Library has books but they are outdated with the current academics going on. Social groups just exist for photograph and documentation as I myself run the Go Kart club. People are non enthusiastic to join the clubs and don't volunteer or contribute required funds at all. They want everything for near free which is simply not possible to run such clubs. Freshers party, bollywood day, traditional day and Farewell are the only 4 events that happen the year long. All 4 of them are a mess with bollywood day and traditional day having no significance. Freshers party and farewell are shabbily organised via faculty with no drive for perfection. The event day is a mess because nobody prepares or cares to listen.

Admission :

I didn't apply for other colleges. This was available at the 11th hour so I Took admission here. The good thing here tho is that resume will carry the batch of JSPM hence adding a bit more value to my education. Apart from that nothing much.

Faculty :

Faculty is okayish. While the teachers are qualified to teach subjects, they severely lacking communication skills to teach it. Language Barrier has been a problem slightly because everybody communicates in regional languages here. Sometimes Hindi on request but you cannot request every lecture to be conducted in Hindi. English speaking is severely lacking amongst the faculties. The course curriculum is relevant to the diploma. The tests conducted are insightful in what we have to attend at boards so no complaints there. Teaching is what is severely under lacking here

The highest package as are 4-5lpa, I really don't know the company. The lowest package are 2.5 lpa The percentage of students getting placement is less, it's almost 20-30 percent My plan after getting degree is to do engineering

In our branch students were eligible from the 5th semester for campus interviews one company visited the campus named ThoughtWorks which provided the students with a package of 8 lpa which was great and also training of around 18 months with a good stipend for non-tech branches there are much more opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum are on the website all neatly explained. I chose this course because I really wanted to learn about electric vehicles. The only improvement i feel should be done is to teach everything a bit slowly that's it. The frequency of exams were really quick which i feel is too fast but that's fine cause all the syllabus is been covered before exams

Placement Experience:

Placements are good the average salary package is about 200000 to 400000. After 5 sem you are eligible to participate in placement until the previous backlog is clear and you have to score 75% above. As the college is Polytechnic so many students are studying in higher education so the ratio is about 20% of students get the placement. As I also go for higher education.
