Remarks :
As a CSE student and programming head of this college, I would recommend this college for everyone who wants to get into CSE in Hyderabad Eamcet colleges as the hod is very friendly and resourceful. Other branches might not have very high packages. Sports facility is quite extraordinary. so if you are a nerd or sports fanatic this is the college to join.

Entrance Exam
Course Curriculum Overview :
I think the course curriculum is quite balanced for CSE but there is always room for improvement as in the subjects that are taught in the third year could be made more interesting. Areas like machine learning, data science should be explored more as a part of the curriculum.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, my college has an R&D department that works on many state level projects and projects of social impact. They hire people from our college only and give them a stipend up to 5000 if they are good enough.
Placement Experience :
The average package in our college is 6 lakhs for CSE which is quite remarkable and we get high packages up to 12 lakhs/year. Companies like Microsoft, Delloite, JPMC, TCS visit our college for campus placements.
College Events :
We celebrate our technical fests CONVERGENCE and CLAMARITE every year and also a special programming event called TURING CUP from 2019. We also an event called OPEN HOUSE which gives individuals opportunities to show the projects they have worked on to all other students. Then there is a sports fest every year and this year VICE PRESIDENT of India attended our college for the fest and inaugural ceremony. Finally, we have the biggest cultural fest in Hyderabad called SINTILASHUNZ in which many celebrities are invited every year which is a lot of fun.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
A student selected from Eamcet or B-CAT has to pay 1,08,000/year and those selected from the NRI quota have to pay around 3.5lakhs/year. So considering other colleges the fee structure is optimal and it's affordable and worth paying for the infrastructure and facilities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
All the students who got a rank of less than 10k in Eamcet are given scholarship from the government and whenever students go out for events to participate in competitions the college makes sure to get the expenditure covered if its too high
Campus Life :
We have good chemistry and physics lab. There are many computer labs enough for 500+ students at a time. Then there are labs for EEE and ECE students who have many expensive types of equipment. Vnr Vjiet has the best sports infrastructure among all the state colleges in Hyderabad there are two basketball grounds and three for volleyball and very big cricket ground and two badminton grounds, then there is building for indoor games like chess, carrom, table tennis, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
In our hostel each room has 2 students and there are two washrooms on each floor and the food quality is quite good, non-veg is provided for the non-vegetarians. Apart from that, we have gym equipment and a large ground area to go around. We are not allowed to stay outside the hostel after 7:00 unless permission is taken.
Alumni/Alumna :
Our seniors and alumni are very helpful as they help us in getting referrals for internships and jobs and they guide us through the process of interview and how to prepare for that. They take control of the student chapters and cultural clubs initially and then hand it over to the juniors.
Exam Structure :
Every semester we have 2 mid exams and one semester exam, the final score for the semester is calculated by taking 60% of semester exam marks and 40% of final mid exam marks. Final mid exam marks are 80% off the best score and 20% of other scores in that subject.
Admission :
I got an Eamcet rank of 7720 and I opted for CSE for this college during counseling and got it. There were other ways of getting into this college like B-CAT which is through jee-mains marks but I couldn't get through it so Eamcet got it me in.
Faculty :
I would say there is an equal number of good and bad faculty members. Some faculty members are very experienced so they know what they are teaching and how it can be simplified and made interesting. On the otherhand, there are some faculty members who don't have enough subject knowledge because of which they can't deliver their lectures properly.
