Remarks :

Good college with good extracurricular activities. Also, the teachers are very supportive. The location is a problem because going to the main city area takes time. The college has enough food places around it. And also all the necessary commodities are available nearby.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is decided by VTU ( Visveswaraya technological university ). I feel the course compared to the autonomous universities is a bit outdated. The course could have been more updated and the technologies which ate currently running should have been included . However, that's not the case.

Internships Opportunities :

College provides internship. That is actually based on branch to branch . Stipend internships are not provided yet . But the college is linked with placement cell which keeps notifying about the Internships which are stipend.

Placement Experience :

Placement for CS and IT branches is really good . They have a lot of companies coming for them . However core companies are very limited . For the students wanting to go in software companies, umpteen number of chances are there .

College Events :

Habba is the college fest that takes place every year in the month of March-April. Various events, competitions are conducted and participants from various colleges come to participate. Along with that every branch also conducts its own fest. These give opportunities to interact with different and new people.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure I feel is a bit expensive. The fee structure can be easily tuned down. Fee for wifi is taken which does not work in every block. Also, amounts for various unimportant things are added.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No such scholarship is given by the college. However, from the government side, there are various scholarships. But the college as such does not provide any scholarships. This is a drawback since not everyone is able to afford the expensive fee structure.

Campus Life :

This college is famous for its extracurricular activities. It's a huge set up where you meet various people from all over the city. The sports teams Have played and won many tournaments especially cricket.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is really good. For girls, it's a secure space. And the hostels for boys and girls are separate. However recently some boys pgs have been built in the girls' hostel area. The price is a bit high but there are various options to chose from.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are super helpful. They guide us through any situation. They also help you with the papers to be presented. Also, alumni meet happens at an interval. They help and guide us towards a better way to make the most of this college life.

Exam Structure :

The exam structure is based on the affiliated college. Overall it's pretty good. The exam has gaps between various subjects and there is sufficient time to prepare since the last day of working and the exam start date has enough gap.

Admission :

Comed k is the exam conducted through which you can chose different colleges based on your rank . After the exam , the selection process starts where the college which take students based on their scores will be shown and you would have to chose the desired college from them .

Faculty :

The faculty is well experienced and very supportive. They are well versed in their section of teaching. Also, most of them are Ph.D. holders or pursuing them which makes them knowledgeable on their subject.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

Well it was a emerging glorious institution, so I chose it. Also it has good facilities with good experience of atleast 10 years in the field of education. The infrastructure of my university is excellent. It has all the facilities needed for the overall development of a student. Although it us situated little of the city, it is totally worth the travel.
