- The faculty is young and energetic and approachable
- There are a lot extracurricular activities and opportunities available

- Wouldn’t be a good place if you plan on only focusing on your studies because there will be a lot of programs going in the campus
- The department as well as the college is situated in the middle of the city so there are a lot of space restrictions
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is good but in my opinion they could add some more portions which will help the students to get better knowledge over all. The faculty members do try and provide their own personal knowledge and information which will be beneficial for us
Internships Opportunities :
Different departments have different internships opportunities. In psychology we only have 1 internship during our 3rd year and as all psychology students might be aware no stipends will be provided instead you have to pay them the money to get internships. It ranges anywhere from 6000 to 30000 depending on where you are doing your internship
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee for a year is around 70,000 rupees . When we first joined the college we had to pay 48282 rupees which included the first semester fee of 38782, PTA fund of 2000 and the fees for an add on course of our choice . For second semester the fee was 25175 rupees and for the 3rd semester it is 37237 rupees. The total for 3 years would come somewhere around 200000 rupees. I'm in my 3rd semester so I don't know the amount of the next 3 semesters. There are total 6 semesters and now the courses have become 4 years so I have no idea about the fee structure of it.
Campus Life :
The best part about st Teresa's is it's social life. The college has ample opportunities to showcase your talents and skills. There are a lot of programs going on every day. Some might be conducted by the departments and some by the union of the college. There are a lot of clubs like dance club and music club, if you are a part of any of the clubs you will be very busy when programs are near and will miss a lot of classes but it is all fun
Admission :
I applied to many colleges but my top priority was kristu jayanthi college, Christ university (both in Bangalore) and sacred heart college Ernakulam. I got offer from christu jayanthi but couldn't accept it due to the distance. My experience with sacred heart college was very poor as they were asking for donation of 2lakhs and they also said that they couldn't give me BSC in psychology as I'm not from science background. St Teresa's college offered me the same course without any donations in general merit
Faculty :
There are around 200 students in the UG and 50 students in the PG. there are 6-8 faculty members in the psychology department and they are more that enough. As the college is autonomous it conducts the exams according to their convenience rather that following the MG university exams. The paper are corrected my internal faculty as well as external faculty. In a semester there are 2 internal exams and 1 external exam. The internal exam is out of 25 or 40 and the external is out of 80.
