- Faculty is very good and helpful. Their teaching methods are very good it shows how much experienced they are. They give their time to the students to solve their problems with the lecture and etc
- Campus is very active like students are very active they participate in many clubs, extra co curricular activities, seminars and talks etc
Dislikes
- There are other few department with not very good infrastructure. The classes aren't clean mostly. Students quantity is more and classes are small.
- Students aren't very interactive among each other. There are mostly grouping system in the college which unable the introvert to make friends and interact.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I had humanities background in my 11th and 12th class in school but I wanted to explore the IT field and this course gives me that opportunity. As I have done one internship in web development and I realised my college not really prepare us from the corporate point of view. Faculty should focus on preparing students from corporate point of view so that students can get a idea how life or things work in corporate. Exams questions mostly repeat from the previous year question papers so students don't really go through the whole syllabus they juss focus on PYQs to prepare for exam.
Placement Experience :
In the last semester students are eligible for campus placement and college doesn't provide 100% placement. According to the students the highest packages students have received is 12lakh per annum. Average packages are 3-4 lakh per annum. To sit in placement offers a student should be having 75% of attendence and also 7.5 CGPA in overall semesters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees we pay around 60000. Tution fees is approx 58000 and we have to pay examination fees separately that is around 3000 per semester. Students also get scholarship if they are in reserved category and students can also apply for scholarship whose parents annual income is less and also if their percentage is high..
Campus Life :
Virasat the official college fest helds in the winter season. Apart from that many more events are very active in the college. The range of books in library are very limited. There aren't many varieties of books available in the library. The subject of the particular author aren't available in the library. There aren't enough books in library for students to just issue them throughout the semester. Apart from IT department on other departments have AC in the classroom that is an big issue in these upcoming years of heatwaves. Mostly technology are provided example projectors in every single classroom. But the desk and chair of department apart from IT are not good. Students quantity is more and classrooms are small. There is special advantage for sports and youth fest in the college. Students get the attendence if they are participating they even get some money off in fees There are many clubs in the college to join example esthesia, Rotaract, enactus, red ribbon, finance and literacy
Admission :
I filled the form of DHE according to that I got MCM in the first round and in the second round I got cggc sector 42. But I didn't wanted either of them because their ranking and reviews weren't that good. I even applied in chitkar university for the same course but I didn't got the seat as the seats were full till that time. The admission process is very comfortable of my college as the process is very well explained on the college website in simple words . The eligibility for my course was more than 50% in class 11 and 12. And priority for CS and Maths in class 11 and 12 in school.
Faculty :
The faculty members in the IT department are around 25 . Mostly faculty members are very helpful.Teaching method of mrs.Garima Srivastava and mrs. Shailja Agnihotri of IT department is very comfortable among students because they are very interactive in between the lectures with the students. They clear the doubt of each and every student.Unlike other faculty who just come and give their lectures and just end the class, they are not at all interactive with the students.One of the professor is Dr. Paramjeet of IT department
