  • Interior of classroom. It should be maintained well.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is good. It is what the SPPU university follows. It is quite comprehensive. However it needs to be updated from time to time to match needs of the world. The timing of the exam is 3 hours.

Placement Experience :

There is a well equipped placement cell in the college. It is evolving day by day. Average placement is around 4 lakhs only. Jindal Steel and many more companies hire our college students. Alumni of this college are now practicing as renowned advocates in Bombay High Court, Pune District Court, etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Sinhgad Law College, affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), has a year-wise fee structure that varies by category (General, SC, ST, etc.) and quota (Management or Government). For the General category, the total fee per year ranges approximately from INR 32000 to 39000 tuition fees. There are other fees also like exam form fees, assingmnent or journal fees extra. Management quota fees are higher, reaching around INR 65,000 yearly. There are diplomas also available ranging from 12000 to 13000. For students in reserved categories (SC/ST), the fees are significantly lower, often less than INR 15,000 per year, depending on scholarships and fee waivers. Fees have been increasing marginally each year, generally by 5-10%, but this depends on inflation and administrative decisions. Several scholarships and financial aid options are available including the state governments merit-cum need scholarships and ebc concessions.

Campus Life :

The campus life is average. Our college hosts many popular events such as Sinhgad Carnival, Sinhgad karantak. However there is a lot of crowd at these places which is very frustrating at times. There are many clubs and committees also in the college which are really helpful for a profession like law.

Admission :

I gave Mh-cet and applied to various colleges in pune but got selected in this one. The admission process - it is usually through mh-cet but you also can take admission in college without giving the exam.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is 1:22. All the teachers are good in their respective fields. They are quite helpful and understanding. There are semester exams which happens 2 times a year. This helps to cover all the syllabus.

The placement has been on a good note since the past 4-5 years. The companies like bajaj, punjab national bank and other companies like this. Which provide a good payscale of around 5-6 lakhs in starting and it increases with the time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chooses this curriculum as I am intrested to do law. Many of students and other peoples praises the college as "Best College of Law" in Marathwada region. To be honest. Really it is best college. Which gives us best curriculum during our academic year. The curriculum of college teaches me how to become a good lawyer. The arguing skills etc. There should be no suggestions from my side just to imrove the course curriculum as it is overall good. The timings and scheduled are fixed by college and university. Generally the exam is in two shifts 10:00 to 1.00 and 2.00 to 5.00pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is upto mark and according to BCI rules. But i feel like it would be much more easier if instead of unloading all the burden on the students in the penultimate and past year, they divided the law subjects in 1st and 2nd year as well which included onky ba subjects. As the courses, it gets tougher and tougher.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is average. It is not very active. In recent years it had made some progress but it was mainly due to students efforts and not the contribution of the college. It is advised the students themselves apply for options.

I want to go for judiciary after completing this course. So, I am giving more preference to study, moot court, and internship. Students from our college also go for the corporate sector and college also provide a placement which helps them. Overall if you give your 5 yr in the study and work hard then you will be able to chase your dream.
