- The environment around the college is very refreshing & surrounded by greenery. The staff is very helping & kind.
- The whole staff is focused on approaching education through a holistic view.
Dislikes
- I didnt liked the college timings for Bsc.Biotechnology, as the classes are kept very early.
- The toilets are not well maintained & clean.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum was well aligned with the NEP. Providing a upper edge over other colleges who had not applied it yet. This course has 1 major subject which is Biotechnology & 2 minors which are Chemistry & microbiology.
Internships Opportunities :
There are not internships as such yet said to us about as this is the first time the college is conducting this course in the college. But the faculty do talks on their level about privage internships.
Placement Experience :
There are placement rounds conducted. Though very less people go for that as most of them go for masters or govt. Exams, or other competitive exams. The course is conducted for the first time in college hence cant say the placement ratio.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees is rupees 70000 in self finance course. There are no seperate tution fees. I am not aware of any scholarships available yet. I am not awre of any fees structure or any financial aid available for different categories such as management, SC [scheduled caste] , ST[scheduled tribes].
Campus Life :
There are many festivals happening. A lot of guest lectures are taken. The head of AES also comes & has taken leture. There are many sports events, student runned social group like NSS , etc. There is projector given in the classroom.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel facility provided by the college. The pg in which i live has 16K rupees rent per month including laundry, library, gym , & 4 times of meal. The pg culture is very nice , most of the people around here are pursuing CA.
Admission :
I had applied in other college saint xavier too but this course was not available with these particulars in it. Also i coudnt get the admission over there dje tk merit. The addmision process is quite simple, you have to come in person & register yourself for the course during the admission timeline which can be seen on the website.
Faculty :
There is one faculty for 66 students. The faculty are very easily approachable. They are always eager to help & provide more & more opportunities to us by competitions, & various types of teaching techniques.
Interview Experience :
I had one discussion cum interview while the admission process. All the criteria were discussed during that, the 12th & 10th percentage, the admission fees. The counselor was very helpful & polite to us.
