What do you need from a college? A campus life, placement & good faculty. Woxsen is a mixture of all these.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Woxsen School of Business focus on case study approach and we had term wise exams. The PGDM had overall six terms and few of my subjects in marketing were B-2-B Marketing, Brand Management, Digital Marketing, Advertising & Sales Promotion, Consumer Behaviour, Retail Management, etc.
Placement Experience :
Woxsen is known for placements. They have really good recruiters and the team really takes the placement seriously. Average package is 8LPA
College Events :
Lately, we celebrated Rhapsody in style. The campus was full of joy, enthusiasm, and excitement. We even had a marathon and celebrated Christmas last year. The college frequently organizes events, competitions. Even debate competitions are organized.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The tuition fees for PGDM two year course was twelve lakhs. Accommodation (hostel) & food charges were six lakhs for two years. The rooms were air-conditioned and twin sharing. Even the rooms were spacious and the whole campus is WI-fi enabled. Hardly there were other expenses, we only use to spend while having snacks at cafeteria.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarship and education loan can be checked on their official site, I am unaware of it as I didn't opt for the loan.
Campus Life :
With studies, you enjoy a lot with your batch mates and friends. It's just like a home and all friends are like family members. Each one of them come from different parts of the country and there was a lot to learn from each one of them. Campus life was the best life & I really miss those days.
Alumni/Alumna :
We have alumni meets in our college where alumni tell us how the Woxsen experience transformed their careers and lives.
Admission :
I took admission in Woxsen through CAT. Woxsen accepts students from all backgrounds as long as they have an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks in the 10th standard, 12th standard and in the undergraduate degree. Getting into Woxsen was not that hard if you have prepared well you will definitely get good percentile and get admission in Woxsen.
Faculty :
Learning from faculty members was smooth we had world-class faculty members Prof. Steven Rogers from Harvard, Marcus Collins from New York University. These faculty members have a decade of experience and were quite knowledgeable. Even they use to share their experiences along with the case study.
