Bsc(Hons) Ag. @BPSAC , Purnea

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very nice it builds up students' mentality to cop with every situation. It's a semester-based curriculum so in-depth knowledge about each and every subject Is gained by students. We do have practical classes accordingly with our theory class for a better understanding of students.

Internships Opportunities :

Many projects are going on maize, makhana, mushroom, and various companies and industries visit the college to be a part of the program. Students benefit from this internship program. Because they great knowledge from the work and companies that visit.

Placement Experience :

We get placements in government sectors like iffco kribhco and many other fertilizer and seed companies. In case one does not gets campus placement then he can go for government competitive exams like afo, nabard , dao ,fssai etc. Most of the students choose to do higher studies in this field like MSC, PhD.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Here is it's a government college the fee structure is very low. It's a 4-year professional degree program in which only about a maximum of 40k for 4 years is required. Hostel charges are free .. and you have to only pay for the food u eat and that is also available at a very affordable price i.e about 3400 per month

Campus Life :

The overall experience of mine is very nice, a lot of festivals and functions are organized here as we have an NSS unit that conducts all these events. Apart from here Ncc unit is also active and is involved in all programs .. Infrastructure is also well-established There are solar plates installed making the environment more eco-friendly Plants flowers trees of various species are present here

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is quite good as u don't have to pay a single penny from your pocket.. No charges for electricity and water too Food quality in hostels is like just eat to survive not more than that but it's on affordable price.

Admission :

Here admission process takes place through ICAR and bcece. I preferred this college over others because of its faculty members and education policy. Here the faculty members are truly inspiring and educated. We have many teachers all over the India .. South India , West Bengal etc .. I was admitted here by my own acceptance. And got admission in the first round. I haven't posted any other colleges but the chances of rejection appear here

Faculty :

There are different subjects we have to study for our course and in each semester there are different courses .. for each course we have a respective group of faculty members .. Which a keep a very indepth knowledge and idea about the subject .. In a sem there is probably 3 exams .. 1st is mid term then practical exam then the final or we call it external exams .. Mid term exams are of 30 marks 20 marks practical then external for 50 marks ..
