Internships Opportunities :

After 4.5 years of study we have to do an internship for 1 year at our college hospital. It is a hands on learning experience. Stipend is 10000 per month for 12 months. Interns have to be on duty on all days sometimes even on sundays.

Hostel Facilities :

There is a double room provided. There are two beds, chairs and table and an attached washroom. The mess serves meals and evening tea with biscuits. The hostel and mess facility is compulsory for undergraduate students.

Admission :

This college is ranked as the best private college in bihar for mbbs. I had got 606 marks in neet 2023 but the cutoff was 610 for all india quota for medical colleges. So in the end I had to switch to private colleges in the counselling and hence by that time all seats in good private colleges were filled. I got admission in Katihar in last round of bihar state counselling.

Faculty :

There are 6-7 professors and 3-4 pg students as faculty for a batch of 150 students. The faculty is warm snd open towards the students queries. Tanweer Iqbal sir(physio)teaches amazing in 1st year. His lectures are always lucid and enlightening. There are 2 pcts,2 internal exams,1 pre uni and then university exams in 1st prof

Remarks:

Only negative remark is that after 9 to 5 class, students get very tired to do self study that affects their performance. Positive remark is that there is a friendly environment for students and an atmosphere to study

Remarks:

In my view AIIMS PATNA is a fantastic institution with all the basic necessities and in the path of meeting the standards of a Institute of National Importance . The college management is very much Co-operative and the college runs very smoothly without any student Union. Every College has some bad things too as there are always bad with goods but in our institution at present there are no bad and the college is progressing at a a surprising speed and we are insightful to become the best Healthcare provider in the country in the near future.

Entrance Preview:

I got admission to jln medical college bhagalpur, bihar through all india quota reserved for the north eastern state of arunachal pradesh in the year 2001. The entrance examination was conducted by arunachal pradesh government and i got 7th rank in state and in my category i got 2nd rank. As the seats where reserved since arunachal has no medical colleges.

Placement Experience:

Since it is a medical college there is no custom like campus selection like in case of engineering etc. Even then we used to get opportunity to join various hospitals after completing internship as resident doctors. The packages started from rupees 20000-45000 in various parts of india. Few local hospitals, nursing homes and also corporate hospitals form metros has contacted us through various consultancy agencies.
