- Crowd is good than most of the colleges in chandigarh
- IT department is good almost 8-9 labs and 3 classrooms are there and in it u have courses like bca, bsc it, ba it and bvoc hardware and msc it also
Dislikes
- Some people fight during elections, so college need to make some rules for them
- Merit is little high high so if u have to take admission in this college , u need to have good marks in +2 marksheet
Course Curriculum Overview :
I took admission in this college because it is one of the best college in chandigarh and its ranking is also high. When I went there I got to know they teach well as compared to other colleges .but the college conducts too many events which sometimes is the cause of tym waste for students but dedicated students study and if u will get good marks or any position in your course in the college or in the university u will get an award in the prize distribution ceremony.and bca exam took place in the evening from 2:00pm to 5:00pm which occurs for 4 days and practical exam timings may vary according to your year some year have practical in evening and some in morning
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
If you are looking for bca course in Chandigarh ,this is one of the best college for this course, all the facilities are provided and they take almost all classes in lab. Overall fee for this course ranges between 1.60-2lakh and for one year it is approx 60k including examination fee.they also offer an add on course which you can take any one of your choice and classes of this course took place in evening for 2 days every week and if u will take it in 1st year ,u will get certificate of that course , if u opt it in 2nd year to u will get diploma of it and if u will opt it in 3rd year to you will get it's advanced diploma.there are also many scholarship one is nsp which u can apply if your family income is less.
Campus Life :
The college conduct many events . Every Saturday there is a stall in the college which has many activities to perform and many events took place there and on almost every festival events are there. Almost books for every research work or anything you want to learn are available in library. For attendance u have a specific app ,on which u can check your regular attendance. The sports and extracurricular activities offered are quiet good. And there are many clubs here which u can join and u will get a huge amount of skill development by joining those clubs
Admission :
I chose this college above other colleges because first of all it is a semi-government college with high ranking ,it does not have environment of a college and fees are also affordable. And if you have taken maths and computer science or it in your 12th standard u will get more benefit as your merit will increase because of these subjects. For admission to this college, you need to fill out the form of dhe and when u get this college u need to fill the college form and u can also visit college to get direct admission.
Faculty :
All the teachers are very nice and approachable ,if I talk about maths teachers in it department they are the most helpful teachers I have ever seen and they teach the best and they also take extra classes. Almost All the teachers will talk kindly to u. If I talk about bca course there are 4 subjects in every semester and 2 practicals which are from that 4 subject only and u need to clear 50% of the subjects to take admission in next year.uf u study with little dedication also you can get passing marks easily.
