Course Curriculum Overview :

College timings is apt, that's why I chose this course For further academic pursuits it has helped me in taking commerce as a optional in my UPSC preparation, but got rejected in the resume for a company even after getting highest marks Improvements should be done is student teacher interaction, providing with practical knowledge rather than theory Timing of the exam is apt but the time given to prepare some easy exams are too much compared to the difficult one's

Placement Experience :

There are placement opportunities in the campus .Over 30 companies come for placement Students are eligible for placements from 3rd year Accenture, northern trust, Deloitte hav visited . Over 100+ offers are made Highest package was 8L and average 2.7L package Not sure about the percentage of students in placement After getting degree i hav opted for Upsc preparation

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Year wise fee I paid was 45000 after deducting 10000 merit scholarship in the first year. But for the next 2 years there is no scholarship and have to pay 55000. Every fee is included in 55K so no other separate charges Irrespective of any category one has to pay 55K as no reservation is provided Merit scholarship for students securing distinction upto 94% and students securing 95% are given free seat but only in 1st year. National Scholarship can also be applied by the students

Campus Life :

Many fest are taken place among them is the Tarang, which is a cultural fest which is held annually. But after completion of degree there is no proper felicitation program. Only a farewell is given Books n journals are accessible at any time Sports and extracurricular activities are offered like NSS, throwball, cricket and so on Efforts were made to create student groups

Admission :

I had not applied to any other colleges Admisision process is to first fill the admission form by giving 100rs and then submit it with relevant information No entrance exam was given , cutoff was 85%

Faculty :

Faculty and students relationship are good. The best of the faculties are Sridhar sir , he provides conceptual clarity of accounting The faculty whom almost everyone hated was Manjula ma'am, she used to target students, show favouritism in class, show her frustration on students There are total of 4 internals which are moderate. Almost 90% student clear the internals. Course is relevant to attend exams

There are different faculty members for teaching BCom and ca Bcom class are usually in the morning time Whereas CA class will be there after Bcom classes ( afternoon to evening ) Bcom exams are bit easy when you compare with CA You need at least one month of proper time and hard work to pass the CA Foundation course

Placement Experience:

For the day college, there are placements. Every year a lot of start-up companies or small scale companies come for campus interview. A lot of students are selected. But the package is around 1.8 - 2 lacs per year. For evening college I don't they have campus placements. We have to look for jobs ourselves. I plan on doing internships and learn after my graduation.
