Course Curriculum Overview :

The Anna University prepared curriculum provides enough insight to respective course selected and the subjects are integrated with lab giving real world applications to the syllabus learnt . After 2 units the internal assessment are conducted to test the calibre of the students

Class Size : 2250Course Fees : INR 92000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The Soti company which visited offered SDE 1 for the freshers and the many other IT based company offers the same. Where as the core companies offer the hardware role. The internshala internship is provided with enough stipend .

Placement Experience :

The students are eligible at the end of third semester for placement drives . The few companies that visit are TCS , CTS, ECON,ZOHO , INFOSYS, SOTI and many more The highest package provided until now is 12LPA. About 80 percent students get placed in the placement drives.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fees is 92000 for management. The miscellaneous fees is about 700 rupees You can avail scholarship according to your background. Exam fees depend upon the number of subjects per semester according to Anna University Chennai.

Campus Life :

The annual sports day will be conducted followed by the culturals event every year where the students participate in them making it an great opportunity for the the students to enrich themselves. The library which facilitates acces to various books and articles related to your major . The

Admission :

The eligibility for the electronics and communication engineering course requires an cutt off of 160 and more . The application form is available in the office room upon paying the fee for admission form one can fill it. The admission is dealt by the management and they ask you few questions for your choice of course then you are good to go.

Faculty :

The faculties are all well equipped with latest trends . They are friendly to the students and help them with thire queries when ever possible. The students can interact with the staff during the break or lunch time in the respective staff rooms

Average college but a good place to study on your own

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
