I wanted to pursue masters in media studies and WHISTLING WOODS offers a full-time MBA in Media and Communication. Their course ware is effectively designed to suit the industry and academic needs. The campus in itself is an inspiration as it is located in the heart of Film City.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There is a dual certification course - MBA + PG in Media and Communication. The two have to be done simultaneously and both have their own sets of subjects, assignments and exams. One common thing that the two share is the Research paper that needs to be submitted at the end of the final semester.
Internships Opportunities :
The college provides summer internship. There are renowned companies that come over to take up interns from the campus like - Star tv, Zee, Sony pictures, CNN IBN, ABP, DHARMA and hosts of others. The average stipend a good company gives can be anything between 5000 - 10000.
Placement Experience :
The placements are good because most faculties who come here are from the industry themselves. Big companies like Star, Zee, Sony have always been around to hire deserving students from the campus. The placement cell is also quite helpful and they also groom the students by conducting mock interviews in order to boost the confidence of students when they face real interviews.

The college does provide scholarship to the ones who fare extremely well in the entrance tests.
Campus Life :
The college has a lot of student interaction forums, debates, sports days, industry interactions that keep students engaged and entertained all through.
Hostel Facilities :
The campus doesn't have hostels but they do have contacts that help students in finding accommodation around film city.
Alumni/Alumna :
Whistling Woods is like one family and so the alumni are quite helpful as and when needed. The college conducts alumni meet which allows interaction between the current students and pass outs.
Exam Structure :
The exams usually happen in a Semester pattern. The study is quite intense be it Mba or the BBA course and requires great amount of hard work. This is positive as it grooms the students well.

One of the best things about this place are its faculties. They are a mix of industry veterans who impart practical knowledge, making the course more relatable to the real industry scenario. The college has an open door policy, so every faculty is completely approachable at any point in time.
