  • As you further moves to other semesters, the quality of education degrades.
  • The staff doesn’t seem to be much experienced and knowledgeable.

Course Curriculum Overview :

At start it was quite nice we were given lectures properly, and there were exams in between too on regular basis but as we move into further semester both the lectures number and exam schedules hampered. We were not given lectures properly and also about the exam they didn't care enough to prepare us well.

Internships Opportunities :

They provided us internships which was paid, 5000 for a one month internship at a laboratory. Which wasn't of any use for our career. Students used to look on their own as college internships were literally of no use.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We were charged 90000 a year that is 360000 for the entire course. . Once I paid 27k for bus service for a year, and used that service for half year only as Covid came the college was not open. They didn't refund anything to any of the students and if we sit for just one day without transportation fee they used to charge. So the management is nothing but a cash collector out there. Forget the placements they don't have something like that there.

Campus Life :

The admis infrastructure is good but when we move to the campus side, nothing really works, the campus are not well build, there are cracks in the building, fans doesn't work, they used to place cardboard in between two departments so the whole infrastructure for the students ain't really good. Forget the club, sports something like that, there's ground and courts but just for the sight seeing both else. When sports used to came they just give it to hostel and ask them to make team and play. No sports academy, activity, selection like that so if you're a sports person forget this option.

Admission :

There's not cut off or anything like that you can go and get the admission anytime even if the seats are full. They told me the total number of seats for a batch is 60 but when we went to college for the first time the number was 69 and as we move further at the end of the course there were approximately 90 students in batch.

Faculty :

There were only few faculty member who were well educated and experienced but most of the faculty was fresher who didn't even know the subject they were supposed to teach. Sometimes the lack was f faculty was this much that they used to bring faculty from the B tech courses. So as you move further in the course they start ignoring the senior both education and their regulation wise only what they do is collect fine in any ways possible.

Placement Experience:

After 8th semester students are eligible for placements because without degree you are not able to do job because Pharmacy is totally based on medicine which effects human lives . There are more than 100 companies who visit Sgt University for off campus selection of students and interviews. Companies like sun pharma , appollo, mankind and many more companies, you can get about this on the official website of Sgt University. Highest package was of 22 lakhs from our Sgt college and average is around 5 lakhs. Percentage never makes students eligible for any kind of job , there are so many students who took job in best companies while in m pharm there was a student,he was having onle 64% and he took job in research and development field in very reputed company. I am planning to do job in any pharmaceuticals company for sometime and side by side I will prepare for govt exams because for government job like drug inspection you need atleast 18 months of job experience.

Admission:

After I completed my 12th boards, I applied for admission here in this college. I had got good results in my 12th boards which is an aggregate of 50% and therefore my application for admission was selected.

Placement Experience:

The placements are the best for our seniors. Around 75% of the students were placed all over Bangalore. The salary offered is in between 10K to 20K per month. We are placed in hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have on the basis ofgiving good treatment to the patients. the salary in the beginning is less but as the experience increases we can even open our own clinic or even hospital or work privately too.
