Parul university is a good college but for some courses like BBA and MBA. Mostly students opt for this college is because of its infrastructure.
The students who live in hostel have also got the facilities like wifi food and Landry system.

Dislikes

Dislikes are that they dont provide wifi whole night as they know mostly students study till late night.
You can not walk inside the campus after 9:30 pm. Mess timing is also not good they give dinner between 7 to 8

Course Curriculum Overview :

i choose this college for psychology hons because i saw its marketing and placements are also good. and yes Parul university also provide real life example to the students about the course and the syllabus. they should provide proper books and pdfs. exams gap are quite reasonable where you can prepare for your exam wisely.

Class Size : 20Course Fees : INR 45000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placement process actually begins from the 3rd year for all the deserving candidates with good knowledge and academic records. There are so many well reputed companies who visited Parul University like Amazon, TCS, Vodaphone, Mahindra, Amul, L&T infotech, Relience etc. Highest package is around 22LPA and average package is 2.5 LPA to Rs 5 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

tuition fees are vary according to the courses like my course is BA psychology honours which is around 50,000 with additional exam fees. and if any student will fail or detain then they have to pay 600 per subject. complete cost of my education is around 3 to 5 lakh for 4 year program. Parul does not allow any other scholarship which student don't get from parul. They also don't give you the permission to do internships by your own. they have a record of 100 % placement and so many student got best placement also.

Campus Life :

If you are in parul then definitely you will enjoy the every event and festivals. They have their annual event called 'DHOOM' which is for 3-4 days, and you will really enjoyed it all the hostels are open for the whole night and the event was going on from the day to night. They have their technical event also called 'PROJECTION' it is also for few days. They have a big library also which is open till mid night and they have their particular faculty library also in each and every building. The library have so many books and journals according to the students needs. E

Hostel Facilities :

My hostel is literally good and spacious because there are so many hostels for both boys and girls which is around max 12-13 for both. Each and every hostel and room has wifi, laundry system, personal side table and bed with study light, but yes the mess food is not that good as they give repeated menu in lunch. we got the menu before the month start which is good. You have to register once in a year for your hostel you have to book bed and room whatever you want. I am not living in rented room because i personally feel that hostel is good for attending regular classes because there is not good localities near parul.

Hostel Fee : INR 91000 per year

Admission :

The admission process is not that much difficult any student who want to take admission in parul i think he or she can easily take it, because parul dont have entrance exams for so many courses. we have to google Parul University. ac. in by clicking on it you will get the whole site and first you have to register yourself and login. Then you have to fill your details by choosing your course then you have to submit documents and all . My application fees was 1500. If i will suggest the areas of improvement than that will be is they should take entrance atleast basic test according to the students selected course.

Faculty :

Faculties are according to the need of the university. but they are rude sometimes. learning experience is also not good. Their approach to teaching and mentorship is not that much good also they don't provide proper books related to thd course. we can interact with teachers on daily basis

BA in English literature in MSU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite interesting. It includes old English Literature, prose and poetry. When I got admission there were total 8 subjects in which students have to study 4 core, 2 Allieds, 1 elt, 1 Ide. But now they only have to study 4 core subjects and 1 ide .core subjects include everything about English literature, their authors, English language teaching or women writing. And ide has optional topics. English department has the highest ratio of students in the faculty of arts. Teachers are really cooperative and understanding, specially HOD Mr Hitesh Raviya sir. They support students in every possible way. Students have to give internals after 2 months of studies it is of 30 marks and after completing 1st semester that means 6 months they will conduct external of 70 marks. Exams of English literature is quite tough for those students who are not from an English base. They face difficulties in ELT and core subjects.

I choose this college because its near to my home and it's very big and the faculties are very experienced and all the necessary requirement available in the college environment is also very good and positive

A decent college

Remarks:

It offers a great curriculum for liberal studies, the course is offered by only 6-7 colleges in India. It ranks third for this course and has amazing extra-curricular activities like committee works and fests and also is very supportive of individuals pursuing their personal talents and interests.

Entrance Preview:

There was no personal interview or group discussion for admission. The admission process is based on the higher secondary education marks and merit list.

Placement Experience:

There is no placements for the students. Many colleges in ahmedabad does not give placements after the course completion. The campus is full of commerce and arts students. So the students have to search for the job on their ownself. Everyone of us were on our own and the chances for placements after the course completion is zero by our college.

Good teachers

Remarks:

The principal is very strict. He strongly promotes Christ college and sends students for various inter college meets, however this was only for streams like commerce and business administration. The batch I studied in, arts, were not encouraged for such meets and competition that boosts confidence in students and helps them prepare for corporate world. The students of arts stream also did not receive any campus placement training or offer which makes it difficult for them to face The world outside.
