Remarks :
Overall the college is good, if one want to study then it is a good place. But there is no creativity, because it only follows the conventional way of study.
Entrance Preview :
It was a good college with less number of students and so more attention from the teacher we would get which would be helpful for me, as well as placement of this college, was also good at that time, almost all students used to get placed in companies at that time.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum taught here is the course which is defined by MAKAUT formerly known as WBUT. So the course curriculum is good but as far as my concern is it is not upto date as I think there are many new subjects and courses have come up now a days which also should be part of a curriculum.
Internships Opportunities :
No our college does not provide any internship. Whoever want to get internship can go out and search for it of their own. However student can ask there senior about it or college also sometimes in the last year of college brings some companies which offers internship.
Placement Experience :
To be honest a person takes admission in an engineering only so that it can get placed in a good company after graduation. And for this college, when I took admission in this college its placement was good but now when I graduated its placement is gradually decreased by 60-70% students , in this session.
College Events :
In case of events celebration college always lead from front. We here celebrate every single festivals, puja, fests. Every year a grand Tech fest is celebrated where there are many competition are held among the college students and students from any college can also participate which is followed by the Grand Cultural Fest which happens for two days and some guest celebrity or singer are invited and bands are invited. Along with it we even celebrate holi, diwali, saraswati puja, id etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure for the college is feasible it's not that much expensive. The fee which is to be paid for the course is decided by the MAKAUT itself and so students have to pay according to MAKAUT's norms only. In the last 4years the fees has increased every year but during our time fee structure was feasible.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I don't know anything about this as I haven't got any scholarship from college neither took any loan.
Campus Life :
About campus life, our campus ends before it starts. It's just a building and some of the area around that building that's all with our campus. There is a field on the left side of building but that field is of a government school. But all the sports like cricket, football, run etc are carried out there. Robots are seen in college just during Technical Fest and for whole of the years there is no creativity shown in the campus.
Hostel Facilities :
Well if come to hostel facilities then there is no hostel of college, so facilities is far away thing. But if anyone wants he can take admission in nearby paying guests. You can find the people asking you for taking PG during your orientation day. And those PG are good because you can get food also easily there and you live with a family.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors students are very friendly and helpful and there is no doubt on it at all. Every time we met them they feel so energetic and we enjoy together as friends only.
Exam Structure :
Exam structure is same as almost in all engineering colleges. Many assignments take example like 1assignment every week which comes to be 4assignments every month and after that 2 mid-semester tests and then a semester tests. So if we see there is around 3exams and many assignments in a semester only.
Admission :
First of all I gave wbjee exams or one can get into this college by Jee-Mains rank also. So by my wbjee rank I locked this college in my online counseling form and after few days my name was there in the merit list and so I had to go to the Techno India Salt Lake to get the admission to this college as BIT is one of the colleges of Techno India Group.
Faculty :
The faculty of our college are easily assessible, we can find them roaming here and there, in , canteen or in there office room. Most of them are very helpful and friendly and they are very easily available for all your queries, on the other few of them are just for a name.
