The teaching faculty is very nice, they have got well qualified and well expirenced faculties
The atmosphere here is the best has got a big playground with greenery on all sides

Course Curriculum Overview :

B. Com is not a very tough course. Yes, you have to study to make it more simple and BMCC is the rank 1 college for commerce in Pune. It eventually gives you very good opportunities in the future. Having a good faculty and a good environment to study are also some important aspects.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I myself had worked as an intern in the London bank Barclays, similarly they provide ample amount of internships for the students along with grooming sessions for soft and hard skills development

Placement Experience :

They do offer campus placements in MNCs like Deutsch Bank, BNY, etc. The placement cell does really appreciatable work, they conduct grooming sessions for students to enhance their skills and they also provide internships.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Here the fee for the course also depends upon your caste but yes after your Third year, you have to pay the caste fee and for paying this caste fee you have got scholarships like MAHA DBT and NSP scholarship. The placement cell has a great tie-up with most well-known companies and even MNCs.

Campus Life :

The College is well-regarded for its campus, and we have many clubs for the student engagement. We conduct various events like Troiks, Astitva, Anubhuti, etc. Along with this, we have ED cells, NSS, NCC, etc. The college library is big with good stocks of books.

Hostel Facilities :

When I was in the hostel the fee was 75500 with a 10k deposit and I have no idea about the current fee just have heard that it is increased. The hostel is a great place overall you have got all the facilities within. Mess food is the only thing we use to complain about.

Hostel Fee : INR 85500 per year

Admission :

We dont have entrance for B. Com but we have one for BBA, BBA IB, BBA CA, and BMS. The cutoff at BMCC is generally high and in B. Com we have 600 seats available whereas in BBA it is 120 and in BBA IB it is 80 for now might increase in the future.

Faculty :

I won't say all but yes many teachers are such who teach you with 100% dedication and are always ready to clear your doubts and are also always teaching things other than study which will help us achieve something in life. They are supportive.

Know what Pillai's is all about!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom degree is not recognized now a days because people around take it as a simple course. But if you are really interested, you can build a career out of it. Bcom degree over a period of 3 years provides wide variety of knowledge in accounts, auditing, costing, business management, economics, advertising, computers and even taxation. All the fields of commerce are covered in this 6 Semester course. Only the thing is how students pursue it. Syllabus now has case studies for all subjects which help students get well versed with how the world beyond this walls works. It gives an idea as to how to find solutions for the problems in every field of commerce. However, I feel that the curriculum should include industry visits atleast once a year as the projects and assignments for the course are basically dependent on it. Besides this, studying is important even if you are pursuing a simple Bcom degree. I have realised that difficulty level of exams increase in every Semester

Give it a Chance better for Your Future

Placement Experience:

Many companies are going to hire students because our college is graded in A+ when we are in last year of our college.We feels so good to hear and proud moment for our college.Axis bank placements were first rolled out and many students from my class applied. The highest package was 2.5 lakh per annum and average was 1.8 lakhs per annum.20% of students are placed from our class.I planed to do MBA after the completion of this course.
