Faculty of the college in my course was the best and have a great experience about teaching
Cultural activites were conducted on a very frequent basis which helped students to enjoy the college atmosphere

Ambience of the college is not that good, infact the local area near the college is slums
There is no parking facility for the college students

Course Curriculum Overview :

As per BCom course, i had my curriculum on point, the course prepared a student very well on the points which are necessary for a buisness person or a HR recruiter. A strong suggestion from my side would be that they should make cultural activites participation compulsory for each student so that they can learn living in the real world.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 9000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements are the main drawback for my course, but as the college provides many other course like BBA, BFM,BBI, BMS,BMM, and all the other PGDM courses, the placements for these course are quite recognizable.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fees for the 3rd year were around 3000, as because for this college i was in the Aided section. The fees as per the faculty the college provides is worth it. Student can get a access to library, gymkhana, and other cultural cells

Campus Life :

As a student, i was lower on the study side and more on to the events side, i was the Chairperson for the cultural fest of my section and trust me it is the best thing a student can learn for building himself/herself for the real world. Infrastructure that the college provides is not good but manageable.

Admission :

The admission process for this college is completely online and its a very easy process, however the cut off for the aided section are usually higher, the 3rd list closes almost at 70% for aided section.

Faculty :

Faculty is very experienced and there are many senior faculty member who help students get all the doubts solved. The young staff is also a great mentor in every way. The teachers are well qualified and many of them have PHd in various fields.

Know what Pillai's is all about!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom degree is not recognized now a days because people around take it as a simple course. But if you are really interested, you can build a career out of it. Bcom degree over a period of 3 years provides wide variety of knowledge in accounts, auditing, costing, business management, economics, advertising, computers and even taxation. All the fields of commerce are covered in this 6 Semester course. Only the thing is how students pursue it. Syllabus now has case studies for all subjects which help students get well versed with how the world beyond this walls works. It gives an idea as to how to find solutions for the problems in every field of commerce. However, I feel that the curriculum should include industry visits atleast once a year as the projects and assignments for the course are basically dependent on it. Besides this, studying is important even if you are pursuing a simple Bcom degree. I have realised that difficulty level of exams increase in every Semester

Give it a Chance better for Your Future

Placement Experience:

Many companies are going to hire students because our college is graded in A+ when we are in last year of our college.We feels so good to hear and proud moment for our college.Axis bank placements were first rolled out and many students from my class applied. The highest package was 2.5 lakh per annum and average was 1.8 lakhs per annum.20% of students are placed from our class.I planed to do MBA after the completion of this course.
