Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum at my institute RBIM is both relevant and comprehensive . It covers the fundamental and advance topics by theory. We also have regular practicals ao the we can prepare for the industry. I think in the hotel management we should have more practicals instead of theory classes as we have our practical of food production only one day(half day) and rest we have the theory classess in a week.
Internships Opportunities :
In Rayat Bahra Institute of Management we have internship programme in the Hyatt regency Chandigarh which is a 5 star hotel with stipend of 5000 for Industrial Trainee. And we also have Lalit chandigarh which is also a 5 star hotel.
Placement Experience :
As i am a student of BHMCT and i can get a maximum placement of about 10000 per month, but this is the starting salary in the hotel management . In hotel management there is 100% placement is you are passed with 50%or above.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As i am a General category student so i have to pay 25000 per semester with 5000 practical fees. Other than this i have to pay money for any event which is being held in campus for example - sports meet, star night , fashion show, etc. you have pay for there events even if you are not willing to attend. Other than this our college have PMS in which the SC students can submit there fee from the scholership. I don't have much knowledge about this but the staff is very helpful in that kind of stuff.
Campus Life :
I am satisfied with the events which goes through the whole year, firstly when you join the college as freshers so you get the freshers Party in which many types of activities are performed by the seniors and at last there is farewell party . The campus student also organises the GURU KA LANGER in which the Seva is done by the students and also we have the path of Sukhmani sahib. Overall the events done in the campus are very great and enjoyfull.
Admission :
You must be 12th passed for eligibility for the course in any stream. You can go to the Admission cell to get the application form and the application fees is may be 1000. Yes there is a scholarship program for the SC students known as PMS. You can contact the college and get further information regarding it.
Faculty :
The Faculty at Rayat Bahra Institute of Management are highly qualified and have the appropriate Industrial experience. The low faculty to student ratio ensure personalized experience. Professors are approachable and use interactive teaching methods which infact increase the learning experience.
