- The college 's canteen is quite neet and clean. It has also been awarded by the chandigarh administration for it's cleanliness
- The infrastructure of college is also very big which makes it more attractive and impressive.
Dislikes
- The problem of monkeys is a serious problem in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The competitive exams brings the quality of being an arts student. And I want to give some competitive exams in near future, that is why, i opt it. In our college, one semester combines two types. First one is mid semester examination and another one is final term examination. Mid semester examination takes one and half hour 's time for exams. And final term examination takes three hours' time. The mid semester examination is quite helpful for the final exam because it contains mostly 75% of syllabus which makes the students quite helpful in their final exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
This year, we have seen the fee hike in registration fee. The semester fees also varies according to the even and odd semester. When it is an odd semester, we pay a bit of more fee than we pay in an even semester. In second year, if some students wants to take honour in some particular subject then she/he has to pay around rs1900 more to opt it. In even semester, we pay atleast rs 10k and in even semester, we pay atleast 9k. So, after concluding all semester 's fees, we pay around rs 60k. Those students who belongs from SC, ST, OBC etc.- they get the scholarship from the institute and also get some stationary. But the institution also provide the scholarship for general category 's students who enhanced all the eligibility criteria.
Campus Life :
Our institution provides different types of annual and technical festival. In odd semester, first we have had talent hunt-where all the students show their talent in stage. Then we have had youth fest, where the students prepare for the inter college youth festival. And the most interesting and impressive thing about it that our college is the overall 10th time winner of this festival and also the overall winner of north region inter university festival in cultural activities. And there happens a lot of more fest in odd semester. But in even semester, different departments of institutions conducts inter college fest with passage of time. And the annual prize distribution also conducts in the month of April. Library has a big range and accessibility of books and journals. And it also provides the internet section. Every room has a smart class room. The sports and extracurricular activities are offered by the institution. Some girls have gone for national and international games .
Admission :
As I have taken arts stream, so for me, the eligibility criteria was to complete the 12th board from a recognised board with atleast 50%. And I find the application form from the DHE Chandigarh, where I first log out and then payed me registration fee. And then I got my username with password via SMS. And then the institution continuosly send the message about the fees and dates. And we have had 2 times exams in a semester. First one is mid semester examination and another one is final term examination. Mid semester examination contains 75% of syllabus and which is quite helpful in our final exams. And the timing is about one and half hour. And for final exam, we have given three hours' time.
Faculty :
The quantity of faculty members to teach the students is good in this college. Which impacts the learning skill of students very much. They are quite specialised in their fields. Some teachers takes the test frequently, which makes the students easy to learn their syllabus and all.
