Remarks :

University overall is good. Location area is rural so apart from college timings vehicles are unavailable(during my time). A lot has improved after my leaving. Buses are started from campus to jaipur junction. Wifi facilties has degraded after my leaving, as per i got info from my friends residing there. College management is very strict. But one can score good as the exam pattern is easy. All the education campus has some good as well as bad things, but vgu i still think is a great institute to study in.

Entrance Preview :

i have opted for vivekananda global university because of it reputation in discipline, good infrastructure, and most importantly zero ragging policy. One of my senior was also studying there and he recommended me this university. This university has good wifi facility during my study duration also the university was providing a good amount of scholarship too.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The University is not at all digital. Neither fees nor the course curriculum is available online during my study time. Course curriculum will be given to students by the teaching faculty only. And also the course curriculum is not updated regularly.

Internships Opportunities :

The university doesnt provide internship oppurtunity to the students. The students have to arrange their own internships by themselves from outside campus, during the final semester. As i had a plan to do B.Tech i didnt face any issue regarding internships.

Placement Experience :

Placements are average and mostly salesman jobs are offered to the b.tech students. But the placements for the diploma candidates are awesome. the first batch of diploma got an 100% placement. second batch was ours. nearly 90% of the students got placements. but job giving companies were very less for diploma.

College Events :

there are various events that are organised like blood donation camp, e-cell, traffc safety event, inter college sports event, intra college sports event. The main event of the campus is panache, in this event famous personalities come and celebration goes on. this event goes on for 3 days starting every day at 8 am to 8 pm. during this event, toppers are given awards along with sport competetion awards.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

fess structure was very simple. full details are listed below: diploma fees: 40,000/- per year( if scholarship is there scholarship amount will be deducted from this) fees for diploma is quite affordable. hostel fees including mess: 80,000 for one year (1 seater room and 2 seater room is only availabe in the campus) so the amount of money charged is justified. noextra charges for electricity consumption. but high voltage equipments like iron is not allowed

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

during my time scholarship criteria was simple. in 10th >80% then 10000 scholarship in 10th >70% but less than 80% the 7000 scholarship but the scholarship will only continue if the student maintains the same percentage in the whole duration of the course and if in any subject student fails the scholarship will be cancelled from that time. new scholarship details can be seen from this link:https://www.vgu.ac.in/view/admissions/scholarships.php

Campus Life :

Campus life is good for studious people. No one will be able to enter the campus after 8:15 am and leave before 2:30pm on monday, tuesday, friday, saturday and 3:30pm for wednesday, thursday. for hostellars no one can stay in hostel during college duration (8 to 2:30/3:30). No one can roam inside campus during college duration. gender ratio is male:female :: 10:6 most students are local, and very few students form nearby states and few international students during my study time. extracuricular activities are there. labs are well equipped, various sports events also are organised.

Hostel Facilities :

out of 10 i would rate residential facility 8. 2 points deducted because of the water available in the campus, is hard water which is very problematic, causing hairfall, skin issues, etc. only drinking water is from ro, though not not difference. I had to bath with the drinking water so as to prevent myself from being bald. Mess food is worst. 3/10. food taste is very bad. even no option to leave mess. only the breakfast and evening food food is good. even once cockroach was found in the food. during my study time, i always had to order food from foodpanda, zomato, etc everyday. most importantly the campus is fully veg. inside hostel students bring various addictive products like ciggarate, alchohol, etc by hiding from security officials.

Alumni/Alumna :

It has been 1 year as the alumni of the campus, so cant say much about how much helpful it is. And i being a diploma pass out from the institute has very less members from the same course. But till now, after i left vgu in 2017, they mail me if there is any job openings in the country, which is a great thing.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure of VGU, jaipur is very simple and easy to understand. Its described below:- 1> 2 mid terms in one semester, for every subject carrying credit points, each had a total marks of 20, as well weightage of 20 and time alloted was 1.5 hours. 2> 1 end term in one semester, for every subject carrying credit points, having a total marks of 60 and time alloted was 3 hours. 3> mid-1 + mid-2 + end term =100 4> cgpa is calculated as per the subject credit points and the multiplication factor was 9 x cgpa = percentage 5> In mid terms, question pattern is :- 5 mcq questions from the alloted syllabus each carrying 1 mark and no negative marking, and rest 15 marks theory questions along with internal choices. max marks for a question is 5 marks. 6> in end terms, question pattern is:- 10 marks mcq questions, rest 50 marks theory questions from 5 chapters of the syllabus(diploma only has 5 chapters in every subject), from each chapter 10 marks will be there, max marks fro a question is 5, overall 12 marks per chapter including mcq .

Admission :

I took admission in the year 2014 after completing my 10th boards in cbse with 9.0 cgpa. First of all i have checked their website for more information after my senior recommended me the university. Then i contacted the counsellar for admission in diploma in engineering. Minimum percentage required for admission in diploma was 60% in 10th. And if you have more than 80 percent then you are eligible for a scholarship of 10,000 per year, which was good as the fees per year was 40000/-Then xerox copy of original tenth marksheet, dob certificate, domicile certificate, fathers voter id are needed to be attached along with the form. After reaching university, all the submitted documents will be verified with the original documents and the original documents will be kept with the university until course completion.

Faculty :

During my study time, no student can access the faculty details. During free time students can go to faculty for further clarification about any topic.Faculty timings were 8 am to 3:30pm mon-saturday. Faculty present all the helpful to the students. any kind of project related queries subject related queries they always help the students.

Placement Experience:

The Institute assists students in placement-related activities even though it doesn't have a placement cell in particular. The students are guided in the perspective of jobs from the first year itself. The students are given training and Industrial exposure from the second year itself to groove them to the industrial standard professionals. The students are also trained regarding interviews, group discussions, personality development, public speaking, and other soft skills. By the end of the third year, various companies participate in campus Placements and select the best and eligible students from all the branches. The companies that participate in campus placement include Bajaj, MRL, Micromax, LT, AIS, RMC, Everest, Naruto Suzuki, Eureka Forbes among others. Almost 60% of students got placement.
