Course Curriculum Overview :

One of my school teacher advised me to choose engineering and then I took admission in this college as I was having interest in learning electrical objects. The college conducts traning and placement lectures so that the students could understand the process of placements. The teaching method should go with the improving technology through digital boards and projectors. Every 6 months the end semester examinations are conducted and the duration of one examination is 2 hour 30 minutes, the difficulty level is quite medium.

Internships Opportunities :

The internships are offered for limited students who have a good cgpa as giving internship to every student is not possible. Local companies like mauri tech, cofroge and slk these companies accept interns and some automobile companies for core branches. The companies hire the interns on a project and then give them a certificate after completion of that project and stipend if mentioned.

Placement Experience :

For 6th semester the students are eligible for the campus placements. Codex Infotech,Bajaj automobiles and tata motors visited and no offers were made. Wipro pari was the company to offer the highest pakage of 7LPA and the average pakage of 3.5 LPAwas offered by Infosys. 35% Students get placed in the campus placements. My plans after getting degree is to do a job for atleast 1-2 years and then start up a new business.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The policy regarding tuition fee increases can vary widely between educational institutions. The complete cost of my education is 70000 per year including service fees and other compulsory charges. Scholarships are available in this college for economical weaker sections and economical backward class the amount of the fee is halfed for the students of this category. Right now I have not I have on taken any campus emplyment as I'm still studying in the third year.

Campus Life :

My experience overall with this campus is a great experience as the annual gathering, traditional day and over all activities were conducted good. The library of the college was a good place where we used complete our assignments and projects, the books, journals and overall reading materials use to be available. The facilities are good but the technology is not good as there are no projectors and smart boards. The sports are conducted annually and the extracurricular activities are also conducted annually but they are not good as the other colleges. There are some students who run a organisation for student welfare and for purpose of anti-ragging.

Admission :

Eligibility of this course is to be passed in 12th examination and good scores in common entrance test (CET) OF JEE. The application form, fees & dates are available on the website of the college. The reservation benifits are available for the students who are below poverty line and for those students who belongs to lower caste. The frequency of the exams are every 6 month end semester examinations are conducted and the timing of the examination is 2 hours 30 minutes, the difficulty level of the of this examination is quite medium. The admission process should be conducted online so that the away students can perform it from the home itself.

Faculty :

The faculty in our college are good problem solvers of the students but sometime they only focus on the bright students. The faculty of our college do teach well and there mentorship matters a lot as they guide us in a right path. Not all faculty members choose to interact with the students but with whom we interact they do solve our problem and guide us.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario at VIIT Pune is impressive, with students becoming eligible for placements from seventh semester. Renowned companies such as TCS, Accenture, Capgemini and L&T Infotech regularly visit campus, offering numerous jobs opportunities. The highest package offered last year was 44 lpa with average package of 7.5 lpa. The profile offered range from software development and data analysis to consultancy and core engineering roles. Around 85% students secure placements. My plans is to use my skills to become a software developer in future.
