Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses are as per the industry standards and overall curriculum is goood for BCOM . Apart from covering only syallabus in the class teaching necessary skills to get placed would also be helpfull for the students I feel. Exam durations are great you will get ample amount of time to prepare for your exams. Exam difficulty level is moderate it's not completely easy or difficult it's moderate .

Placement Experience :

Placements was not quite impressive for BCOM there were only insurance companies were coming other than that few other companies were also there . Average package was around 3LPA . Few students got placed from the college and few opted for higher studies .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

When I joined it was 65000 per year in 2021 now In 2024 it is 90000 per year for BCOM regular . Apart from this if you want parking it costs 3000 per year and credit courses costs varies from different course it starts from 3000 and goes upto 6000. They have a lot of scholarships for students like management scholarships and other financial assistance for the students. They do provide midday meals for the needy students.

Campus Life :

The social life in St Joseph's University is very goood you can enjoy your college life there are lot of clubs and associations you can join and organise events which showcases your leadership skills and other skills. The college's infrastructure is also very good and vast and clean.

Admission :

Admission process was very simple for BCOM it was just a personal interview for BCOM regular. They cut off was more than 80 percent in 12th . There was no entrence exam for bcom students. In interview they will ask you few questions if you answer you will get selected that's all . Over all admission process was smooth .

Faculty :

Faculties are soo good in St Joseph's University they are very supportive and motivating for the students. You can ask doubts often to them in class if it's not cleared you can visit the staff room and clear your doubts . The student faculty ratio is 10:1. Most of the Faculties are highly qualified with phds . Overall it's a great experience in learning in St Joseph's University.

Interview Experience :

As I mentioned earlier there was no group discussion or written test for BCOM regular students . There was only a personal interview that's all . They will ask you few questions related to basic accounts and finance, business and statistics thats all . If you were good at accounts in 12th you can ace this interview.

Placement Experience:

The only good thing happened to me in this college is placement. They have a placement team for the whole of Dayanand Sagar institutions which includes many departments so the placement team is really good. Many big as well as small companies come for campus recruitment and they have a telegram group which keep posting on new jobs every now and then.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester campus selection is offered to the students as we can join and attend interviews. TCS, hcl are the companies visited and didn't select for the job. The placement of the job is a minimum of 30 to 50%. I'm thinking of joining any job I get.

Remarks:

Overall the college provides an amazing experience with ups and downs in your life. This place is a learning experience for everyone. At times the college faculty gets too strict and you have to provide a apology letter everytime a mistake is made no matter how silly it is.
