College Review

Remarks :

The bad things are food and sports. And there are plenty of good things in the college.

Entrance Preview :

Though the college is far away from the city, it has some extremely good facilities. Be it the laboratories, or the sports or the events. The college also has a pond where you can ride a boat as well. And our college is an Orchard Park campus which is full of trees and greenery. It has mango and guava farms. There are plenty of placements and decent faculty as well. The most important thing is that you get a chance to interact with the chairman directly which you don't get to do in other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Assessment is an ongoing process aimed at understanding and improving student learning. It involves making our expectations explicit and public; setting appropriate and high standards for learning quality; systematically gathering, analyzing, and interpreting evidence to determine how well performance matches those expectations and standards; and using the resulting information to document, explain, and improve performance."

Internships Opportunities :

Yes it does provide internship but it better to do an internship outside because you can do it on your interest.

Placement Experience :

Placements in our college are being increased year by year. Last year we got about 700 placements and this year there are about 750+ placements. The college is trying hard to place almost all the students which is a very good thing. The most placed number of students in this year are from the ECE branch.

College Events :

We welcome the fresher's with an event called the Induction Day which is held for 10 days. Later we have the technical fest in October called the Promethean. In December we have the sports week and in January we have the Traditional Day and in March last week, we have the Mega fest in our college Called the Zealotz. Excluding these events, we celebrate many important days and conduct plenty of other events as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The academic or the tuition fee is about 95000 And the bus fee is about 30000. Though the college is far away from the city, it has a very less bus fee and coming to the academic fee if you get good marks and hold a good rank in the EAMCET examination you get a free seat.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If the student cannot afford to pay the fee and if he/she holds good marks then they get a fee concession from the college which is a very good thing.

Campus Life :

Campus life is extremely satisfying and cool. There are a number of girls in the college than the boys. There's a lot of diversity in the college. The extracurriculars are good. The sports are not that satisfying.coming to the competitions, they are great in the college. We have plenty of competitions which are held in the college and also some friendly debates.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are good in the college. The washrooms are decent. But when you come to the food, it is not that satisfying. the college canteen and the mess need to improve the taste. And that's the only bad thing about my college. But somedays the food served is very good. And all the day scholars would get a free breakfast every day.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college is always connected with the Alumni. The seniors give a good guidance and there are brotherhoods in the college. They are quite helpful.

Exam Structure :

We have the mid examinations followed by the lab internals then we have the semester examinations followed by the lab externals. We have two semesters every year and the mid examinations contribute about 30 marks and the semesters contribute about 70 marks which makes the total 100 marks and same is the case with lab examinations.

Admission :

I've qualified the TS EAMCET examination and got a seat in the college through the counseling. In the counseling, you need to place all the colleges you are willing to join in. Then you'll get one according to the rank you get in the examination. Luckily I've got this college.

Faculty :

Study the knowledge base of teaching and learning. Accept all who enter the classroom door. Plan for instructional management. Teach with a variety of strategies. Use assessment to inform students of their achievement. Study the knowledge base of teaching and learning. Accept all who enter the classroom door. Plan for instructional management.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chosen computer science and engineering as my course. I enjoy coding and learning. This course gives the challenge to apply our ideas on real world applications. I choose skills over the marks because scoring only marks doesn't give a good placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course content provides sufficient exposure to required knowledge in the field though it is advisable to seek additional resources outside the course for better understanding. Coursework is not too hard and can be managed by the student.

Placement Experience:

Here, students can try for internships in the 3rd year. Some students who want to pursue higher education like MTech or MBA or PhD don't go for placements and internships. The placement rounds happen in the 4th year where many companies come to the campus, exams and interviews are conducted to shortlist students. For example, in my branch of civil engineering, the placement percentage last year was 50%, with the average package being around 14 lacs. Many companies come to the campus and the highest package last year was 90 lacs which was for a quant role. There are mostly companies coming for SDE and AI/ML roles. The number of companies coming for Consulting or product management roles is quite declining over the years. My plan is to try for placement in some Tech company, and work for some years then pursue a MBA.
