The teachers here are very helpful and supportive. They constantly encourage us to learn many new things.
The playground beside the college is really a great place to play with friends.

The campus is a bit small. Not much space inside the college
Food stalls or shops are very less nearby the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Computer was one of my favourite subjects in school hence I was determined to study with CSE in college. CSE nowadays is a very useful stream and it is very important everywhere The teaching methods of teachers are really amazing The teachers keep asking questions along with teaching hence half of the studies are done in the college classes itself

Class Size : 12Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies come for internship and all the links and guidance to apply for the internships are provided by the placement cell Mini projects can be done with the help of mentors in college which will definitely enhance the resume

Placement Experience :

There is no requirement of semesters for being selected for placement. Students who have more efficient technical skills and have more knowledge in a particular subject, can apply for placement. But from third year, the placement process starts.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee of the whole college time of 4 years is around 347,000 Vivekananda Scholarship is a very useful and essential scholarship of all engineering students For loan Students can go for Student Credit Card loan which has low interest

Campus Life :

For the new-comers we have Lithium (which is the name of our freshers).Our cultural fest is named Impulse and we also have tech-fest every year besides cultural fest and we enjoy and get to learn and win many things and exciting prizes. Football and Cricket tournaments also take place every year and it's a really fun event. Even Girls and Boys team from our clg visit to other colleges for inter college games . There are many tech clubs in the college as well

Admission :

The admission process is quite easy and Hassel free .The teachers here and the office staff will guide you enough to make it easier. Most of the time during class hours exams are taken which plays a huge role in the improvement of the students

Faculty :

The faculty members are really really helpful and super supportive. They always helps us whenever in need. They guide us in every way possible. We can interact with teachers during class hours or sometimes with there permission we can even contact them through WhatsApp when it is urgent.They try their level best to help us

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
