- If I talk about the campus ,College campus is small. Classrooms are good. Water purifier is installed in every floor. Canteen is good but sometime it becomes too crowded. Hygiene is maintained in campus . Their is a lot of greenery.
- If I talk about the Academics , professors are good ,their teaching style is also good, they are friendly with us . The overall interaction between the student and teacher is very great. Seniors also do help with things and curriculum is updated.
Dislikes
- Now comes the placement question , the placements are next to zero and even the students do get placed, it's not really with a well known company , We have to be self dependent in this case . The packages aren't that great.
- The computer labs have the computer systems , but they all are out dated . They are old generation PC's . They should have the latest technology , and latest software installed in them. The internet connection is also not very good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It's nothing worthy in life even a stone. Let me tell you my story , I choosed BCA . It depends upon you how you transform your knowledge in to working environment and learn quickly . Books training and other things doesn't matter too much in your working life and environment . Be a practical student and think beyond others each and every moment , think something extra which will not come from any books or university , it will come from your mind and innovative working style .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So my college is government based college. It use to take our fees semester wise. In every 6 months it charges 27000, which sometimes tends to decrease or increase , but it comes in between 25 to 27K. So in BCA there are totsl of 6 semesters , 6 month of each , which leads to total of 3 years of whole graduation. Per year somewhere between 50 to 55 K (27+27). So the whole degree fee is around 1.5 to 1.7 Lakhs .
Campus Life :
There is so much fun in college. Fests and functions are organised on at regular basis by different deparments . Our college hosted " Panjab University Youth & Heritage Festival " for 2021-2022 which included an array of events like drama , histrionics, creative writing , classical /folk/group dances, embroidery, crochet work etc. Thiis event lasts for 3 days with different colleges from Chandigarh compete over various fields . Our colleges also hosted "PU Jobfest 2019', which included programmes related to spreading awareness over various jobs, sharpening the skills of the students related to their fields, organising competition related to activites like icon designing , debates over topics and speed questions round etc with winners getting rewars for thier wins.
Admission :
Egligibility is none, you just had to be 12th pass to persue this degree. Any stream student can take admission , rather it be of Humanities or Medical or Commerce , but maths subject prefrence is given to the students who had taken maths in +1, +2. A total of 10% is added extra in the total cut off. You can find the application at the site DHE (Director of Higher Education Chandigarh). All reservation benfits are available , students of minor communities has extra preferences . All the information is updated day to day on the side till the admission process in completed.
Faculty :
The faculty members at this intitution are commendable , demonstrating both expertise in their respective fields and a supportive attitude towards students . Many exhibit kindness and willingness to offer guidance and assistance , fostering aa positive learning environment , Their dedication contibutes significantly to the academic success and personal development of students. They were well equiped with knowledge and all had a good experience.
