  • Hostels were not given initially because of which we suffered a lot and had to stay in pgs on our own

Course Curriculum Overview :

Being a doctor gives you an opportunity to interact with people, to serve humanity, able to save people's lives. The frequency of exams helps us to regularly revise the running syllabus and to understand where we are lacking.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship is done after 4.5 years of mbbs. That is the time where we start to get our stipened every month. In our college, internship is done within the college itself. Currently I am in 1st year so there is a long way to internship to start.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for the complete course is around 450000 which is not much, easily affordable by middle class families too. Also there is a different fee structure for IP students. For them fees is even less.

Campus Life :

Sports meet was organised recently which was a very nice exposure to the students other than studies. I also took part in some sports. Rest we cheered our classmates and our favourite seniors. Everyone enjoyed a lot.

Hostel Facilities :

Initially hostel facilities were not provided by the college. We suffered a lot due to that. We have to search for PG and pay their rents on our own. No sureity was provided by the college authorities that upto when hostels will be provided. But now hostels are given by them.

Admission :

We gave National Eligibility cum Entrance test 2023 in which I scored 642 marks out of 720. After that counselling process was done and got a seat in ESIC medical College. Many documents were checked and then I finally got admission in this college

Faculty :

The teachers are easily approachable, very much qualified. In dissection hall, the ratio of teacher to students is only 1:25. This helps each student to interact with the teacher, able to see the cadaver and the dissection performed by the teachers properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The decision to serve humanity influenced me to join this course. This course is considered most prestigious course, but still the doctors are paid less compared to other professions. The teaching method should be improved, teacher should interact with students with calmness.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty is good but if we talk about teaching methods as we all know that in medical College you have to study on your own. some professors only come to read slides. The main exam will be held in the last of the year on its basis you will be promoted in the 2nd year, but tests are held on alternate weeks approx.

There are 100 students per batch, and it's a 5-year course, including a one-year internship. During the internship, we will be offered with a stipend around Rs. 20,000 per month. But there is a bond that you have to work for 3 years after the course, and you can break the bond by paying a specific amount.
