Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is taught in a systemic manner First year covers the basics and the faculty pays special attention as we're new to the whole course. 2nd,3rd and 4th year are more about the clinical side and most of the time is spent in the hospitals trying to see patients and gain knowledge. The faculty tries to teach as much as possible even though they are working doctors. The exams are conducted when a particular block of portion is completed allowing us to revise the topics completed

Internships Opportunities :

After house surgency you can apply to work with the hospital and preference would be given to students Usually students go for pg prep after house-surgency but if u wish to work, the college will help wirh recommendations and oppportunities

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure is annually the same as all the private colleges in Kerala. General seats are 85 NRI quota seats are 15 Some scholarships are available for EWS Campus employment is not available but you can join the hospital after your house surgency.

Campus Life :

College life is fun and engaging as a lot of programs and activities are planned by the student union and college mangagemt. It helps lighten the load of the course Clubs are present and activities are hosted on regular basis All festivals are celebrated with great joy. Facilities like library, gym and recreational areas are present. Library is fully updated with almost all the possible books present in MBBS and is very helpful for the students Gym is adequately equipped to maintain fitness

Hostel Facilities :

Hotels are clean and spacious. One of the best hostels in Kerala. Rooms are accommodated by 3 persons and individual beds, study tables, storage space and cupboards are present. Hostel mess is available but is not compulsory (Mandatory only for 1st year) Rooms are cleaned twice a week and any complaints are resolved immediately

Admission :

Admission eligibility is based on KEAM rank- which is arranged on the basis on NEET marks You need to apply for KEAM before NEET to join government and private colleges in Kerala Admission is strictly based on ranks

Faculty :

The faculty is very kind and teaches students with maximum effort. All are approachable and clears your doubts with dedication. When we reach the clinical postings, the doctors try to involve us as much as possible in examining the patient and teaches us their unique ways. The experiences they talked about definitely aid your process of becoming a good doctor. I aspire to become as great as them one day

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is too heavy and there is lot to learn . Since it is based on helping people I chose this course. And the curriculum is set in such away that we were trained to face health problems in real world in real time. The final year time duration can be increased since there are 6 subjects which are too hard. There will be 3 internal assessment in which total of no less 40 percent should be scored in both theory and practical only then you will be permitted to write the University Exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is mainly focussing on academics . There is also sports and arts including competition but they are not supporting the students. The question paper difficulty is of moderate type and can pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were brought into the new CBME curriculum. Even the faculty finds it hard to comply with as it is a new system. There are a lot of small group discussions and self directed learning programmes that consider the teacher as just a facilitator and students are meant to learn with the guidance of the facilitator.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is very esteemed profession and we have the lives of people in our hands. Curriculum very well prepares us for real world applications if we put effort from our side too. Faculties need to be more student friendly though.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Why MBBS because it has been my dream since of I was kid and I’m glad that I made it this far. Each batch in my college have 250 students and for every 25 students one faculty would be given as mentor, whom we can approach for any of queries. Apart from that practical and clinical postings are really fascinating. We would have year exams as to qualify each year, and a few internal exams every 2-3 months. And these exams I wouldn’t put it too tough that we have to give our 100% of time for only studies but nor too easy. If we put a moderate effort for studies we are soo good to go.
