- The college campus which is very large and peacful with full of greenary and maintainance
- Sports, sports and students having skills will be encouraged and even they will give special permission take us to tournaments
Dislikes
- Transport : as i travel through bus daily, the bus i travel is in a little bit bad condition mainly i travel a rough 100km per day up and down
Course Curriculum Overview :
Coming to my course i got Cyber security. Most of the subjects in my curriculum are same as Core CSE, Only one or two added till now per sem ( I completed by 2nd year) . As per the curriculum I was doing internship. Faculty said that from 3rd more subjects will be added related cyber security. I too strongly agree with the curriculum because foundation in computer science is more important .
Internships Opportunities :
After 2nd year you should do a 2 month internship We are doing internship at APSHE which is a govt organization You can take any domain on your wish and you are assigned some works and projects at the end Upon completion you will get a intenship completion certificate Now im doing on cyber security
Placement Experience :
PLACEMENTS FOR CSE( and specializations ai, cyber security), ECE : For these branch students placement rate is high and companies like CAPGEMINI, COGNIZANT, DXC TECHNOLOGYS, ACCENTURE comes to our college recruiting. Maximum students like 70% will be placed having proper skills For Mech, civil, automobile, mining, civil : branches like this get less placements but the thing is when compared to other colleges, students in these branches also get placements in our college thanks to the management. Some mechanical related companies come to recruit these students, you can check the placements in the college website if needed
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee Structure Personal development fee (12000 per year) : You won't get any fee reimbursement for this or any scholarship. College fee ( 58,000/- per year) : As I got seat through EAPCET which is conducted by govt of AP, im getting full fee reimbursement for the fee. If you join in the college directly you may have to pay this by your own when it comes scholarships college provides you based on your inter or diploma percentage ( some times recommendations may work I hope u get it) Hostel fee ( 85,000 per year) : this is said by my friends and their experience is average because of food which is common in every college Transport fee ( based on distance between your stop and college mine is 50kms , 27,000 per year)compared to other colleges the bus fee is less but bus seats and overall my experience is a little bit average
Campus Life :
Campus life as the campus is great and with good grennery but you are not allowed to roam during the class time. Security take your id cards if come out side this feels a little bit weird in a engineering university Library : our college have the biggest library in the east godavari. You have good study hall also which is very peaceful Events and technical festivals : I spent 2 years there was only a technical fest called medha. Not great but okay something is better nothing. Cultural events : these were also held very less, like once held on sankranti and then a fest called telugu maha sambaralu . Overall when it comes to fests an average experience Sports : students having skills in sports will be encouraged very well and these students have special permissions on attendance even
Admission :
Admission is usually based on EAPCET : MINIMUM CUT OFF ( (bc and oc) 30,000 to 35,000) ; this rank is sufficient to get a seat in any branch in our college, I got a rank of 37,000 luckily I got a seat in cyber security. If you have good reservations like sc or st you should have rank between 70,000 to 1,00,000 ) and after 1 lakh i don't know about this but just try your luck Admission process : It is very simple, u just have to submits some forms realted to EAPCET and fix your seat that's it nothing complicated in this and very short process GGU CET : this is introduced this year only things I know about this are this is conducted virtual and based on the score you will get scholarship or fee reduction. Faculty :
Almost every faculty which teaches us have a minimum qualification of M. TECH, 70% of the teaching faculty have completed their PhD's in different domains. Most of the core subjects are taught by professors for better understanding for the students Not only in academics the faculty supports us in internships and projects Most of them are freindly and interactive with the students They give us not only the knowledge of the subject and also the knowledge of how to survive in the outside world They share their experience in their life's and make us better in every aspect
