Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is same as of other government institutes. They follow syllabus of IITs . You can prepare good for the GATE Examination from this syllabus. You can make notes from the regular classes taken by professors and easily score good in the middle semester and end semester examinations.

Class Size : 85Course Fees : INR 127500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Very rare internships are provided by the college. Earlier Airtel and optum comes for internships,but they have not provided internship from last 2 years. Since Industrial Training is important after 2nd year so you have to find internship in your own . It is a subject of 7th semester.

Placement Experience :

Generally placements are good at our college. But due to recession 2023 and 2024 batch suffered a lot(specially 2024 batch) in software domain jobs. But core branches are still performing very well. Overall average lies between 8-9 lpa.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In first year you have to give 135000 Rs in which 5000 is refundable at the end of your B.Tech and 2500 is non refundable amount. For remaining 3 years you have to give 127500. Scholarship is provided by UP government according to your category. For general and Gen-Ews scholarship amount is 56000 approximately. College also provide scholarship to the branch toppers.

Campus Life :

Infrastructure is average in HBTU , since it's a government college so don't expect much from it. In our electronics department only one lab is having ac. For extracurricular activities you can join any club . There are many clubs and sports facilities in our college.

Admission :

For btech, college accepts JEE Mains score. It is not included in the jossaa councelling. You have to apply from its website. I got a seat in Electronics Engineering department in open category in the year 2020.

Faculty :

Faculty is good , highly qualified. They had done their post graduation from reputed institutes like IITs, NITs, etc. But you should not completely depend on them. You have to develop your skills on your own.

4the year students are eligible to sit for the placements. Placements here are not so good frankly speaking and one who wants a good placement needs to apply for off campus placements. Average package here is somewhat 4lpa and highest be at 12lpa. I am a 2nd year student and planning to give gate exam for better placement scenario.

Placement Experience:

The students can start applying for college placements from 7th semester onwards. Various companies visit for placement opportunities. The highest package was 24L for one year. The percentage of students getting college placements is very low considering the competition in this field. My plans are to join the army, but keeping the engeneering field as a backup.
