- The coduct of examinations are a bit hectic and managed in an unprofessional way
- The decisions made by this university are a bit biased towards a particular group of people
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum was quite a bit stereotypical earlier. But now with the new updates it is quite a bit impressive leading to proper interaction between a doctor and a patient and a proper clinical environment is made that helps us to understand and take things better. This curriculum provides a better than ever approach to the students in getting a good exposure to them. Despite these things there are many areas in this curriculum that needs to be improvised as for now. The curriculum should be improvised in such a way that it helps student in dealing their stress related problems and does a little burden on them. The frequency and timing of exams is very good according to the syllabus and the difficulty level is also good.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship opportunity is given to everyone. Actually the internship is necessary for everyone. There is no such company involved in our college for internship. It's a rule in our curriculum that we have to do an additional year of internship after completion of the studies in the hospital of that college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fees of this college is very low and can be affordable to any one. It's just a sum of ?6000 per year of tutuon fees but with latest equipments for learning and experiments. The complete cost of my education along with tution fee and examination fee is a wholesome of ?10000/year We also get various types of scholarship run by the state and national government in which the eligible students get plenty amount of scholarship. We are provided with stipend in the internship period , which needs to be increased
Campus Life :
There are very few fests organised in this college, major one of them is Saraswati Puja, college foundation day, dandiya night etc. The best part of this college is it's library. It has huge range of books available there and every type of knowledge you can get related to medical field. There is also cyber room in the library which is for online knowledge acquiring. Various facilities are provided in the classroom. It is actually filled with the latest technology of the education system and many more different appliances. Many sports facilities are also provided but they are particularly for boys, there is a bit shortage of sports appliances in case of girls. Presently there are two student run social groups are there which organises different types functions in the college.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility is not good. The rooms are only provided with a bed, a table and, a chair. The meal quality is also not so good we have to join tiffin service from outside to get good quality of food. The registration process is done during the time of admission and there is no other extra work to do for that. The condition of the hostel is totally damp and there is a regular problem of water logging in every season.
Admission :
Admission course was quite a bit hefty task. It took a lot of papers and corrections, which took a lot of time. Eligibility for this course is simple you just have to get good marks in NEET exam. After getting good marks there goes a counselling process in which you get your college according to marks and rank of yours. There is a criteria of reservation in the admission process in the college which is category based (OBC,SC& ST) and even there is 33% reservation for girls.
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is quite impressive in this college. The faculties are also supportive and provide a good quality of education that is required in our field. The education system is also latest and timely updates according to the latest national guidelines of the council. The teachers are very good at interaction with the students, but there is quite a bit one sided approach in lectures but they have also arranged small group discussions to overcome that allowing a healthy discussion on every topic and matter.
