- I like the college atmosphere very much. Because I want a college which promote art,culture and sports along with studies.
- In our college there exist NCC, NSS which promote students to develop their personality.
Dislikes
- Lack of programs in our college is another disliking feature. As a reputed college there doesn’t exist any events
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I like to work in an IT field.I completed my plus two in biology science and pursue 97.8 %in the board exams after that I attend Keam exam because of my interest in IT industry.But unfortunately I got low marks in that exam .Then I decided to search for courses like Engineering in my district.Then i found that there are colleges which provide BSc Computer Science and BCA and i search about these two courses then I realize that BCA is more better than BSC computer science because BCA focuses on the practical side like programming and BSC focuses theory than practical.Then I decided to choose Bca as my career option .As like the name this course provide the application side of computer.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I got admission in this college by reservation category.I got admitted to this course through community reservation.and for community quota students the fees for 1 year is 6050/- And I didn't got E grantz because of this reason.There also have lab maintenance fee of RS 500/- a year and extra exam fee for thise who don't have e grantz. There exist fee for those who joined in merit.I think the fee amount is almost 4500 /- . But I applied for central sector scholarship and i got selected for that scholarship.I got 12000/- Rs per annum.There also have other scholarship like state merit scholarships etc were offered.
Campus Life :
As my perspective I decided to come to this college because of its reputation among the people in thrissur.I choose this campus because of it's look,culture and so on.There occur programs like college day,union day ,association day and college youth festival etc.There also occur onam and Christmas programs.we got our freshers day 5 montgs after we joined the college.But the program occurred was good .and our BCA department conducted an IT fest called ASPERA was a big success.like this there also occurred other department fests.in my opinion college was nice but there exist a lack of entertainment programs .
Admission :
The admission process occurs through online site.The application form of Calicut university is the way we used to do.The main criteria or eligibility is those who have maths computer applications or computer science in their subject they all can apply for BCA.The application fee is same as it referred in Calicut Universities official site. I think 470/- for all other categories except Sc/St. There held trial allotment and main three allotments. After that there occur supplementary allotments . There also have community reservations, sports quotas and people who have any physical disabilities they have special seat reservations in our college.
Faculty :
In our college there exist an experienced faculties.Most faculties pursue a doctoral degree from reputed institutions.And also there exist faculties who joined here as guest lecturers.In my department some teachers are guest lecturers.As they are well experienced their classes are good and it help me to attend exam very confidently.In my opinion I gave 7star out off 10 for their performance
