Review on my College

Dislikes

  • Campus is so small, rest everything is good

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course is very good and from starting i have good drawing and hands on softwares and I made the decision to choose the course, there are 2 exams in a semester, Mid term and end term in 3-3 months. and in between we get practical work to do like making animation , short films, logo designs etc

Internships Opportunities :

Many students do freelancing in this course, and few go in companies, like recently few boys were there in aadipurush in which they did animaiton and vfx work, COmpany was TSERIES, Other companies also come with roles like, Graphic Designer, Video Editor, UI/UX designer etc etc, and stipend in starting was like around 30 thousand

Placement Experience :

Placements are good in my college, after 5th semster students become eligible for placement, recently aaj tak team visited for placement, High Package i have seen in animation field was 9 lakh, and percentage was around 40-60 cause half of the students try freelancing in this field

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

So this course is little bit costly as they are taking almost 6 lakh for 3 yrs, per semester 85000, Loan facility also available in which we get reciepts, and taling about employment, they have there own studio and good placement companies come in the campus

Campus Life :

Overall exp in campus is good, but the only problem is that campus is so small, Rest everything is OK, Events take place every month, library is open for all and no fee for issuing a book, and for sports, recently sports day took place in which every sport was there

Admission :

The Admission was smooth, in starting for applying they took 20 thousand and then a small test for general knowledge and one interview was taken in which they asked questions about the course, the form and every process is available on the website of AAFT

Faculty :

Faculty is very good and helping, I a period 1 Teacher teach 40 students. also if you have any doubt they will help you personally and also supports in project work, If still having doubt they help on call too

From last year we were eligible for campus placement. Several companies are there for campus placement like wasp 3D, ndtv, apollo 24*7, etc. My plan after i get graduated is to apply for reputed MNC company as a graphic designer or else as a video editor.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and expansive ranging from history, to theories, to software useage and practical classes. You get many projects to work on in a semester, and also semester end projects. The course could benefit from improvements by keeping upto date with new changes in the industry. There are 2-3 small tests and 2 main exams in any given semester.

Placement Experience:

From second year onwards students start getting internship paid or unpaid. The degree specially focus on skills so your work matters and not the cgpa or the scores you got in the exams so the greater your skills the larger your package

Placement Experience:

You can be eligible from the first year itself to be honest if you have a good portfolio Students usually get an internship in different companies like news channels, Apollo, etc The highest package that I know from my field was 5 lakh offered to a passed-out student The percentage of students getting internships is very very low, not all get a job offer as this college does not provide good internship

After the 4th semester means the end of 2nd year you become eligible for placements and interships based on your creativity level and work level. Highest package is around 8 to 9 lakhs per annum according to me.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I love to do crafts and artwork. When I was a kid I already planned to do something related to arts. The faculties were too good and supportive. All were highly educated and had done PhDs on their core subjects. Semester Exams were mostly held in December and May.
