Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is very very hectic and it is also one of the toughest fields to choose from, but it was always a dream to be a doctor. specially when we go to the hospital and the patients look up to us, it is the best feeling one can get. we have 4 sets of exams a year which focus on us understanding our course thoroughly, personally i wouldn't want to change the learning or the examination pattern

Internships Opportunities :

there are no internship opportunities offered by the college in association with other companies. We have to intern in the dy patil hospital. they have a good patient influx so exposure is great. we get an internship stipend of 12k per month as interns

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are no scholarships available for the mbbs course. We get internships and placements in our own hospital, and we are given a stipend as well. we don't get any placements outside the college. A fees of 26 lakh needs to be given every academic year

Campus Life :

There are multiple college events throughout the year, so you will definitely not be missing out on college life. We have concerts, stand up shows, college festivals, sports events. in addition to all this, we have a stadium on campus and we get free passes to all matches including ipl

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are comfortable and convenient, but the guards are very strict and you can't get out at night unless you get permission from your parents on a video call with the guards. The washrooms are quite small

Admission :

The admission is only done through the neet exam and going thru the neet counselling for the mbbs course. you need to clear the eligibility criteria in order to get admission in any medical college, which is 50 percentile and above

Faculty :

our mbbs batch consists of 250 students, we have great lecture halls to attend lectures and then we have practicals everyday, along with hospital postings. The teachers are all very helpful and cooperative, most importantly very learned

Placement Experience:

Students get placements based on their scores. they may start practice in gov hospitals or may establish private clinics. Generally, it starts after the internship which ends after 5.5 years of MBBS. Students mostly prepare for PG after MBBS

Course Curriculum Overview:

As in any medical college there 2 internals, 1 prelim and 1 university examination. Each exam has nearly given a gap of 2months. There occurs theory and practical exam both of which are taken in sequence. In theory exams they rate our theoretical knowledge whereas in practical exam our clinical knowledge is given importance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The current curriculum is comprehensive based curriculum. Here practical knowledge is more important than bookish knowledge. So now spending more time in wards is of greater importance. Exams are held accordingly - 2 internals, 1 prilims and 1 University held by MUHS. Each exam is followed by practical examination. This curriculum will help to build good doctors rather than bookish doctors.

Remarks:

Well college is quite good there is nothing to say much negative about your college but it is much crowded students don't get much facilities as they want and other extra curricular activities like social economic and political camps or anything else should be organised so that students are enrolled.

The college campus is good. The hospital is not so clean but the patient outflow is there. The best treatment is given to any patient at very reasonal price. The college is still developing to take this college to a better rank. Overall a very nice college.
