  • Academic life is very stressful and has an impact on your mental health.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The only reason for me to take up this course is parental pressure and the misconception that there is much money involved. I was very disappointed about joining the course. The sheer academic pressure is too much for a student to handle, and the attitude of most faculty members does not at all help the situation. Many students of this course suffer from clinical depression. The job opportunities without undergoing postgraduate which is 10 times as hectic are abysmal. Work conditions after getting a job is ver bad. No time for personal life, salary considering the amount of work one has to put in is abysmal. The academic schedule although hectic involves a lot of rot all of which may not help in real-life situations. University exams are held every year, and covering the entire portion is a very difficult task.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship is in the hospital of the college. The work is very heavy and hectic. A stipend of 25000rs per month is given. Clinical skills are developed during the internship. Although most of the work is clerical in nature. Work hours are very erratic and can easily break many labour laws. We can easily expect to work 18 hrs a day with 48-hour shifts being very common. This hectic work may lead to health issues in the long run

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fees are covered by the government with students having to pay a mere 27000 rs a year. Around 54000 rs has to be paid as hostel fees a year. E grants can availed by financially struggling students provided by the government. One year internship at the end of the course pays a stipend of 25000 ra per month. The work during the internship is very hectic and heavy. May cause health problems in the long run

Campus Life :

The university conducts arts and sports events in which all colleges of the university compete with great spirit. Students participation in events is commendable. All sorts of academic books are available in the library. Sports culture is carried on by students and is very good although it depends on the specific set of students. College-run clubs and groups do a very good job of providing extracurricular opportunities.

Hostel Facilities :

All rooms have cots fans and chairs. Wifi facility is available. Parking facility for students vehicles are available. Meals are decent quality. The mess is run by students and the menu is decided by students so food is good most of the times. Hostel will be allocated to all students, hostel fees comes out to be 4500 rs every month.

Admission :

One must complete class 12th biology to be eligible for admission. One must clear the neet entrance exam and admission os according to the rank obtained in the entrance. Reservation for obc sc st oec are there. Neet exam is conducted every year and clearing it is a very difficult affair.

Faculty :

Faculties are very qualified and professional doctors. Their experience is valuable in our training. Faculty to student ratio is pretty good with 10-15 students per faculty. PG students also academically help ug students and are very knowledgeable. Although coping with the sky high ego of a good number of faculty members can be very tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is more difficult than the entrance, the only relaxation during the exam time is lack of competition. But the CBME curriculum is difficult , which make students more stressful . There is lot to study and also equally lot of activities like record submission, exam are difficult because 50%mark is necessary for to pass the exam and the university exam is conducted at the end of year ,the eligibility of writing exam is determined by internal exams and other works
