- Social environment of the college is quite good. We have a stress free atmosphere.
- Many fests and programmes are organized to enhance the skills of the students.
Dislikes
- In some classes fans dont work properly.
- Timings of classes are not flexible rest is fine.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course I chose BSc BIOTECH of duration 3 years includes all intensive and extensive areas of study to provide students with all the information. Laboratories for practical analysis of the concept have been done. Teachers from Punjab University do visit our college for extra guidance and help students to understand the concept with new innovative ideas. Lab attendants are very nice. The lab timings should be increased. Rest everything is good.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is Rs 28000 and extra examination fees of Rs3000 are charged. I did avail of a scholarship for admission but it was not applicable to fee reduction and didn't have enough information about the other scholarship and the reservation criteria. my course provides a brief introduction to every field of science.
Campus Life :
My overall experience in the college is wonderful. Various fests, programmes, farewells and freshers are organized annually as well as monthly for the students. Students are given a chance to enhance their skills and talents. I felt lively all the way through this journey and expected it to be as delightful as it could be
Admission :
The admission was through online mode. online filling of the application form is done and document verification is done online on the portal itself. Admissions are purely on merit basis. Minimum percent of 65% in 12th is required for admission to BSc. Rest guidelines are sent by Punjab university
Faculty :
The faculty members are mostly PhD holders and research-oriented. Each and every concept is explained in depth taking into view real-life situations and smart classrooms for students to relate well to the topics. The teachers are highly educated and help their students very efficiently. They are well determined in their task as they think children are the ones who can create the future of our country. All the staff members are kind enough to solve the problems of students. Teachers create a safe and enthusiastic environment which encourages students to be a part of the classroom. Teachers are our mentors who guide us in every minor to major thing. Hence every difficult task becomes easy. The way of teaching is quite impressive. They too provide extra lectures if needed.
