  • Fine system is very biased, the fine should be implemented to regular defaulters.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Being a computer science student, I opt for this course to improve my skills to get paid as per my skill set. The syllabus of the course includes a set of subjects that help to improve the overall aspect of my learning and skills. I suggest updating the syllabus and adding advanced subjects such as Data Science, Machine Learning etc. The exams are semester-wise and as per schedule.

Placement Experience :

Only final-year students are eligible for campus placements. Only 2-3 companies visited for our course and only 6-7 students got placed. The highest package is 4.8 lpa. Avg package is 3 lpa Profiles offered are Full Stack Web Developer, Java Developer, Python Developer etc. Will try for on-campus placements and post-graduation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I joined the college at 35000 per year but in my third year I have to pay 44000 per year amount which shows the increase policy of the course fees The overall three-year course approximately cost me 1.8 lakh. No scholarships are availed. No campus employment was provided for my course.

Campus Life :

The annual fest include the Navratri Mahotsav, KCMT Star Night and these are scheduled mainly in month of Nov to Apr. Books available in the libraries are old and very old editions present. Computer labs are well maintained and clean with all required softwares installed. Students can make their own projects to improve their profile.

Admission :

The eligibility of the course is such that you must have Mathematics or English as the subject in 12th standard. The application form and overall application form are provided on the official website of KCMT. The exams are semester-wise and as scheduled by the university. The admission process can be more easy if they make it completely online.

Faculty :

The faculty is well trained and qualified in their respective fields. The ratio of faculty to student is 1:18 which is good for effective learning experience. The faculty's approach to teaching is too good that we can ask same question for several times and everytime you get the answer with more preciseness. We can interact with teachers regularly during classes or externally also.

Placement Experience:

Basically the campus placements is depend on the skills and knowledge of the student from 4th and 5th semester the students for eligible for the campus placements but the students from third semester can also get placed in companies if he or she has good skills and knowledge . The highest package offered in this college was rupees 10 lakh per annum and the average package is 450000 per annum . It also depends on the company to company. Above 50% students are placed in their dream companies in this college . My plan after getting this degree is to do MCA from NIT Trichy college by clearing the NIMCET exam. Because BCA is not that enough if we want to make our career in Big multinational companies, MCA is required.

Mostly, from the 5th semester, students start becoming eligible for campus placements. Amazing companies like HCL, Amazon, Infosys will visit the campus every year and hire the students who really performs well. The package offers keep changing depending on the position you are hired for. Mostly, freshers get a pay of 20,000 per month. Almost 50% of students will get placement. I literally want to do my masters and then get hired by a company.
