Remarks :

Our all our college is good will give 2.5 starts out of 5. They are still trying to improve there performance in acadamic and infrastructure.

Entrance Preview :

I am from tamilnadu no entrance has been there in Anna university affiliated college. We can choose college based on our 12th Mark. I choose to do Electrical and Electronics Engineering in ma college because they own a forma elcteicals. So they shown more interest thonis courses compared to other departments. They had a industrial experience faculty for teaching and guiding students it attracts me to choose ma college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was so good I had learnt is an electrical during this period. Visited implant training to many company and also done industrial visit to many places which help me to learn practically about this course.

Internships Opportunities :

We had only IT COMPANIES came to our college. We didn't go for any internship just went to training for a week in L&T cunoor. There we learnt about switchgear practically and theoretically.

Placement Experience :

Sutherland,css Corp and fewcompaniest don't remember exactly now. They offered around 2.5L PA and some students who had placed in the company rejected those beg they are not related to there department's .

College Events :

Cultural day is celebrated every year and symposium is also conducted by each department students every year. Where students from other colleges comes to participate in the symposium. During this time we conduct many events retaliated to the department's technically and prizes will be distributed to the winners.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fess is little bit expensive where we have to pay 85k with transport,most is that transport is compulsory and not optional.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

They helped the students to get a scholarship provided by the government of tamilnadu. And they also sponsored for a students who scores 90% in 12th.

Campus Life :

Our is a Hindi minority institute so had mixed with north Indian and south Indians gender ratio is almost equal. Many conference and workshop where conducted in college. And we also allow to discuss about the social issue and conduct many walks related to that.

Hostel Facilities :

I am day scholar don't know much about it as I heard it is some what average. Sometimes I had food in out canteen it's purely veg. And food is an optional for that we have to pay 15k per month for breakfast and lunch.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Every two year once alumni meet have been conducted by our college.Where we meet oor old friends and senior of our college . And had discussion about there life and work. And seeking any opportunities is there for a job seekers in there company.

Exam Structure :

Yearly 2 semesters and many unit test will be conducted approximately monthly once and also a week test and day test are conducted. So everyday have to prepare for a test.

Faculty :

They are so good faculty is mixed with experience and freshers where we can see experience faculty who having industrial experience guide the least experience faculty and as well as students.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
