Course Curriculum Overview :

I am a business mathematics and statistics student in school so I like to continue on the statistics path. They teach well compared to the self-finance course They couldn't leave like we were government staff so I could teach if I liked it or not. I rate my course and faculty members 8 out of 10.

Class Size : 57Course Fees : INR 8000 per year

Placement Experience :

My college provides special training to each and every student named SEED class which is skill enhancement and employability development. So they provide training to overcome placements and also career goals.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are affordable compared to other colleges and here there is a merit quota also. And various scholarships are available for aided students like community scholarships,nsp, etc. And also they provide stipends for Ph.D. And they are more companies including mnc also come for campus interviews.

Campus Life :

I love my college infrastructure and environment. Also, my college conducts various events also a Pongal fest. While seeing club activities, there are many clues to involved and do work, and gain knowledge.

Hostel Facilities :

I am not a college Hostel so I don't know about that. But when I asking my hostel friends they said nice about the hostel life but the only thing they want to change in hostel is their food menu There are so many pg available around the college

Hostel Fee : INR 80000 per year

Admission :

Our applications are available online only So we can apply for any course under the eligibility criteria Then after the 12th result, they called us for counselling I selected in the statistics course under the merit quota Because my cut-off is 398 for 490 So I got a temporary ID and then I paid 6800 as a fee for the first year in aided office

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus framed is based on outcome based learning. There is also different levels in learning that makes students to engage in learning the concept more deeper and clear with their concepts. The syllabus not only includes core subjects but also allied and elective papers. Papers like enterpreunership, women studies and so on are included exclusively. Students are advised to complete online courses, and some extra courses. Faculties are well versed and the classes for immunology and biotechnology are taught excellently. During practical classes staff teach the students in batches so no one is left. Experiments are repeated for students excellence in their practical classes. Additionally students are offered animation course for science content development videos, which makes student to opt jobs related to non-core. The placements are good. PSGR krishnammal is the best choice for Zoology in Tamil Nadu.

Because chemistry is a good course it had a bright future. The student ratio is 40 in each department. We had only two faculties so teaching is not enough. Yes, exams are very difficult for students because we had fewer teachers so it would be difficult to pass.

Admission:

I got admission in this college based on my marks in 12th standard. I am studying Bachelor of Science in Zoology. Merit list is prepared based on our marks scored in 12th. This is good college in our place and it is women's college which is also suitable for me. Candidate must have studied physics, chemistry and biology in 12th standard for admission in this course.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies which recruits students from our college from various branch. Few of them are Wipro, Sutherland, global services, IBM, TCS, Transworks, wase, KGiSL, etc. Job opportunities for Bsc Zoology students is less. Internship opportunities are not provided by college but help us to find.

My review

Remarks:

Positive - The Library. It is dumped with more than 82k books. With digital library and fantastic reference section. Play ground, gym etc well equipped and nicely maintained. Nice wifi connectivity. Canteen with nominal rate any one could afford. Entrepreneur we have TBI for young Entrepreneurs fully functioning. Negative - Staff have to update or read books before they come to class. Syllabus should match the industrial needs. Labs should be well equipped.
