  • Usually people are not that good in academics

Course Curriculum Overview :

Diploma in Civil Engineering is a good course to pursue for those who are quite ok in their academics and want a government job after completing their course as Junior engineer in state government or central government.

Placement Experience :

Campus placement is ok but the students who are not placed usually prepare for government jobs or do btech course after their diploma from government or private colleges. Companies such as ahresty, larson and tourbo come for placements

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Companies come to the college and take most students from mechanical branch and then from electrical IT and electronics branches least students are placed from civil branch. As most students coming are not financially very stable so state government also provides many scholarships which they can avail.

Campus Life :

Campus life is ok but the infrastructure is not as good as private colleges ncc and nss activities are there. Annual sport meet is held yearly and the final matches are conducted between the garhwal zone and the kumaon zone.

Hostel Facilities :

I live in the hostel and students of all three years live in the hostel, hostel is quite ok with geysers in all the bathrooms but the mess fees is to be given separately which is 2000 rupees per month.

Admission :

UBTER JEEP exam is conducted for the admission in government polytechnic colleges in Uttarakhand. My rank in the exam was 1248 and I had reservation of armed forces quota. The admission process was ok and I joined college directly after passing in 12th class.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are provided as per the rank of the students in the entrance exam. There should be some additional subjects of technology in the IT branch. Also there should be digital board and the placement of students should be improved by inviting good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I pursued Diploma in Mechanical (Automobile) Engineering and got admission through Lateral Entry Scheme in 2020 and passed out in 2022. I am personally very much interested in Mechanical engineering that's why I choose this branch and the college is just about 10 km from my house so I choose it. The student-faculty ratio was approx 50:4. Faculty there were Government teachers who crack government teaching exams and then get allocated into colleges mostly PG-qualified teachers were there. There were a total of 2 exams in each semester (excluding class tests). Internal examination and final examination. If you are concerned about your studies it is very easy to get good marks there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm interested in this course and this college is near to my home town. Faculty students ratio is 2:7. All faculty members are well-skilled and passed Btech & MTech. Exams are held twice a year and the paper level is medium not so tough and not so easy.
