Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is managed by the University of Pune and all affiliated colleges follow the same in the first year it might become annoying as you are required to learn the basics of all the engineering disciplines and some information might be outdated. Practical learning is not a priority here, pretty much like any other college in Pune. There are no electives in this course.
Internships Opportunities :
Nope. There are no internships available on campus. Although you can try to get a job off campus, maybe in a fast food joint or something and that can help you manage your monthly expenses but don't expect it to be a huge pay especially because you're an intern and not a full-time employee. Sadly no jobs in the college.
Placement Experience :
The placement is better than other average colleges and almost 50-70% students get placed every year for our college. Sinhgad has a network with huge names like Accenture and even Google. The packages can be anywhere between 2-18 lakh per year. Average of which may be around 3 lakh as that high end 18 lakh package is very very rare.
College Events :
Events are in abundance and run all around the year, out of which SINHGAD KARANDAK is the biggest event. Other events are small but cool. Organization is mostly done by the students with very little help from the teachers.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't been a resident at the campus so don't know much about it but according to my friends at the hostel the water heater and high rent are some issues. Food is not good so don't expect it to be nice. Also, the hostel has made it mandatory to join the campus mess which is sad.
