Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum in Thapar is really good and is curated very carefully by the teachers. They equip us with knowldege of many subjects required in the industry. Though it is more theoretical and less stress on practical knowledge which is a drawback as we know the subject but applying it in real life becomes a little difficult. Exams are taken twice in a semester mid-semester exams as well as end-semester exams. Alongwith that sessionals, quizzes, lab evals also take place which keeps student occupied almost entire semester as a result the time to explore by themselves various skills out of curriculum is not much left.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies do visit our campus to hire interns. There are 2 types of interns provided. Summer intern of 2 months and 6- month intern usually in the last semester of graduation. Usually there interns are with stipend. Though stipend vary from company to company. Technical, no technical, project based etc varioud types of interns are provided

Placement Experience :

Placements are decent on-campus. Many renowned comapanies also visit our campus and provide lucrative packages. Almost 80% of students do get placed ( not sure about scenario in recession). But college really to make sure to get as many students placed as possible. Various famous comapies like Apple, De shaw etc come for recuitments. Average package offered is around 10,00,000 lpa.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure changes every year, so not much sure about it. But for 1 semester total fee is approx 2,20,000 rupees and increases by 20,000 rupees every year. Besides this their is hostel fee and mess fee if you want to avail those facilities. Their is both merit based as well as means based scholarship. Merit based is on the basis of SGPA of that year and you can get at max entire fee waiver. In means based its according to the family income.

Campus Life :

Campus experience is really good, as we have a really beautiful campus with some extraordinary buildings. Campus is full of greenery. We have a huge library to cater to almost every students any possible needs. Infrastructure of classrooms as well labs is really good. We have hostels almost equivalent to a good hotel. So no complains infrastructure wise. Coming to club involvements. There are many clubs and of different domains whichever one wants to join. And some or the other club event is happening most of the times.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are really good. We have singe seater rooms, double sharing, triple sharing and four sharing whatever one is comforatble with. Some hostels attached washrooms as well. Hostels are well maintained with beautiful gardens, gym facilities, common room etc. Each room has a bed, cupboard, study table, curtains, dustbins, side table etc. Mostly rooms are air conditioned to beat the summer heat as well. Coming to food, it is good and better than most of other colleges with a great variety in food items. We have canteens also in hostel which operate till 12 in night and in exams till 1:30am. Hostels are affordabel and fee is genuine againts the facilities provided. Hostels are alloted on preference and CGPA basis

Admission :

Admission process was entirely online. We had to fill the admission form on the college website and submit the admission form fee alongwith it. After some time we recieved an email regarding the course we were alloted and we had to either confirm the seat by paying certain amount or else we will be out of the counselling rounds further. Admission was on both 12th board exams score basis as well as JEE percentile and cuttoffs vary according to state as well as reservation category.

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is good and differs in every course, the highest placement record is 45.5lpa which is going to be increased the number if companies visiting is also increasing which increases the number of placements and the average package is 8lpa. If I can't get a on campus placement then I will try for off campus placement. Students of final year of their course will be eligible for the placements if they fulfill the company putted criterias. As college promised the 100% placement but it is not right only some students were getting placed who have some extra skills and knowledge Various companies visited the college every year like Autodesk, Cisco, XPERI, Toki, Accenture, Edoofa, delta x, RT camp etc and provides a good number of placements

Placement Experience:

so every year different companies visit our campus and people from the fourth year are able to see for the placement. Firstly, we have to clear a written entrance test once clear that the company will interview them and get the job so the highest package last year went 25,00,00 per annum. However, the average package is six lakh per annum. It completely depends upon your CGPA and your personal skills, how much you groom yourself to be fit for that company. Tech and non-tech companies both visit.

Placement Experience:

If we have skills, we get placements here, and if we work hard, we can get up to 50 LPA. Most of the renowned companies will come for placements, for example, Microsoft, Google, etc. TCS will give a high number of job offers, but the package is low. It all depends on you and your skills. The placement percentage in Computer Science is about 80-90%, and the average is 7 LPA.

CT University has best placement record till now. They have 400+ recruitment partners. Companies like byjus, paytm, infosys, max healthcare and capgemini have already recruited students from CT University. CTU also have corporate resource centre in ct university , to provide ample opportunities for full time internships, on job trainings and placement in reputed companies. Also, students are doing internships with stipends within the university also as CTU ambassadors along wwith theirt study, so this should be a good enough proof of the quality of the skills being imparted to the students.
