Course Curriculum Overview :
If you're doing master's in geography from patna women's college then you're easily getting prepared for exams like UGC NET JRF as the course is highly versatile and covers all the important aspects. I personally chose this because I knew this college is quite particular about its sessions and academic results.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The course fee structure of this college is quite high as compared to other colleges. You have to pay around 35000 a year for the course which is triple the fee of other government colleges in patna University. Though it's high but it's worth to some extent as the college provides a standard level education and other services. You get timely classes, exams, clean and green campus etc. The college also has some scholarship programs. Also in recent years the college has started providing good placements for all post grad courses.
Campus Life :
Campus life is not as bas as projected by many fellow students. You can get yourself engaged in various outreach programs, cultural events and social service works. There's one central library where you can get books but there's a long range of procedure for that so I prefer departmental Library which is easy to access. As far as sports and extra curricular as considered they are just average but better in comparison to other colleges of patna University
Admission :
You're eligible for masters in geography if you have done bachelor's in arts. Application form for PWC gets available on its website only around the months of March and April. Previously the college didn't conduct any entrance exam, it was just the interview process which decided for the admission but in recent years some departments have started conducting exams. But for geography it's still the interview cum councilling session. Basically you need to get good marks in your undergrad to get selected here nothing else. As far as reservations as concerned, there is nominal caste based reservation though Cristian students get preference.
